AEW announced that this year’s Full Gear event will be taking place at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
It was announced that tickets for this upcoming event will officially go on sale starting on July 20 for early access premium seating and on July 27 for the general public.
In a recent interview with the Arizona Central, AEW CEO Tony Khan gave his thoughts about this year’s event being held in Phoenix and the city being a “fantastic sports town.
“Phoenix is a fantastic sports town
For the big matchups, it’s a town that creates that big-fight feel, and Full Gear is one of those events. There will be a lot of excitement around this show.”
Khan also gave his thoughts about AEW’s Double or Nothing 2025 event that was held in Arizona and him feeling that it is perfect that AEW is coming back for another major event.
“It was voted the best wrestling show of the year, 2025. Double or Nothing 2025 was voted the best wrestling show of the year worldwide by Sports Illustrated, and a number of the top publications picked Double or Nothing in Arizona as the best wrestling event of the year last year, and AEW is even better in 2026. We’re having an even bigger and better year in 2026. So it’s perfect that we’re coming back.”
