As noted before, AEW commentator and co-host Jim Ross revealed in an episode of his Grilling JR podcast earlier this month that he will be undergoing brain surgery soon to deal with a health issue that has affected his memory since his recent lengthy hospital stay for an undisclosed medical issue.
A recent episode of the Grilling JR podcast featured Ross providing an update confirming that his surgery is now scheduled to take place in August in response to comments from co-host Conrad Thompson. An exact date for the surgery was not given by Ross.
“Yeah, that’s it. I’ll be ready to go.”
Ross also gave his thoughts about how it feels to be back home after his recent long hospitalization and him being optimistic that he has been diagnosed correctly and the surgery will help improve things for him.
“Great. I’m just getting better every day. My balance is still a little screwed up, but it’s getting better. So, you know, I’m just happy that I’m alive and I’m happy that I’ve been diagnosed correctly, I think. So let’s get it on.”
