As noted before, NXT talent Layla Diggs was pulled from her scheduled match against Zaria for the NXT Women’s North American Championship at Tuesday’s WWE NXT show due to an undisclosed injury. During Tuesday’s show, it was announced that Diggs had suffered the injury at a NXT house show event this past weekend and was replaced by Nikkita Lyons, Izzi Dame, and Lizzy Rain to turn the match into a Fatal Four-way instead.
Diggs provided an update on Twitter on Tuesday thanking everyone for the support they have shown towards her. Diggs also posted a photo of her wearing a sling on her left arm.
“I’ll be back and I’ll be champion. Thank you guys for all the love #wwenxt.”
