Nic Nemeth Addresses Issues Over TNA Advertising TNA World Title Match & Teasing Lebron James Appearance at 7/30 Live TNA Impact! Show

In the lead-up to Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show at The Licarious Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, TNA Wrestling had advertised that a TNA World Championship match between Jeff Hardy and Nic Nemeth would be taking place on the show. TNA also had teased a potential appearance by newly signed Philadelphia 76ers player Lebron James after advertising that they had invited him to attend the show.

Thursday’s show featured neither taking place and instead the title match between Hardy and Nemeth being announced for the August 13th show. This match was taped prior to the start of Thursday’s show which lead to more confusion both by those in attendance and online fans.

In response to comments from a fan on Twitter, Nemeth responded earlier today stating that the wording on the adverts for the match and James’ teased appearance was “confusing.”

Nemeth also stated that they knew the schedule for the show for weeks and as TNA World Champion, he takes responsibility for not conveying the situation more clearly beforehand.

“The wording WAS confusing on the adverts, for a large part of the audience. We knew the schedule for weeks & as champ, I take responsibility for not conveying this clearer. Also; INCREDIBLE main event last night (& for weeks to come) + PHILLY AGAIN TONIGHT!”
