Nixon Newell & Miranda Alize Get Engaged

Indies wrestler Miranda Alize announced on Instagram that she got engaged to indies wrestler and life partner Nixon Newell, former Tegan Nox in WWE.

Alize revealed that the engagement took place on Saturday, July 4th and showed off a photo of her engagement ring.

Newell had announced this past November that 2026 would be the final year of her in-ring wrestling career.

Newell and Alize were involved in two notable backstage incidents during their brief time in AEW that resulted in both of them walking out of the company over booking related issues at the November 8, 2025 AEW Collision tapings. Besides AEW, at least two indies promotions also have had issues dealing with Newell behind-the-scenes resulting in her lack of indies bookings after her release from WWE in November of 2024.
