Sheamus Reportedly Set To Depart From WWE After Turning Down Contract Extension

Sheamus reportedly is currently set to depart from WWE within the near future, according to Fightful Select.

It was reported that their sources stated that Sheamus had recently turned down a contract extension with WWE and will be leaving the company once his current deal expires.

It was also reported that while an exact date is currently not known, those spoken to stated that Sheamus’ contract expires soon.

It was also reported that WWE officials had previously approached Sheamus about taking a restructured deal which he was stated to have “swiftly rejected.”

Sheamus recently changed his account name on social media to “S. Farrelly” to reflect his upcoming departure from WWE.

Sheamus has been with WWE since April of 2007 and has been a three-time WWE Champion and one-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion during his time in the company.
