As noted before, Trey Miguel has been out of action for TNA Wrestling since this past April’s Rebellion 2026 event due to a broken patella injury. Miguel revealed this past April that he would not need to undergo surgery to repair his knee. Miguel was expected to be medically cleared for an in-ring return within six to eight weeks as of this past June.
Detroit’s Local 4 News held a recent interview with Miguel. One of the topics discussed included Miguel revealing that he was medically cleared for an in-ring return this past Wednesday.
“I’ve been out for four months because of it. I was cleared yesterday.”
Miguel also gave his thoughts about how he has started working as a coach at the Grind Time Wresting Academy in Michigan during his time away from injury. This wrestling school had its grand opening this week and is led by former Detroit Red Wings hockey player Darren McCarty.
