Marty Jannetty Thanks Cauliflower Alley Club For Support After Foot Amputation
As noted before, former WWE wrestler Marty Jannetty underwent foot amputation surgery this past April due to health related issues involving his ankles.
Jannetty provided an update on Friday on Facebook thanking the Cauliflower Alley Club for their help and support following his foot amputation.
“As many of you all know, Ive recntly had to undergo an amputation. The very first thing I must do is thank Brian Blair and his GREAT staff at the Cauliflower Alley Club or CAC. Theyve showed me quite a lot of love and compassion for my situation. Without their help I dont think I would’ve gotten through this very tough time in my life. Insurance only covers so much so I definitely needed their help. And of course if ever a time comes when I can do something for them I’M THERE!!! Thanx again CAC.”
Court Bauer Provided Update on Bishop Dyer’s MLW Contract Status
As noted before, WWE has been interested in potentially bringing back Bishop Dyer, also known as Baron Corbin in WWE. Dyer is currently believed to be finishing up his commitments with Major League Wrestling and the indies before he returns to WWE. Last week’s episode of MLW Fusion featured the storyline announcement of contract negotiations with Dyer had broken down and an update would be provided on the July 4th episode.
A recent episode of Fightful’s In The Weeds podcast featured MLW owner Court Bauer as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bauer providing an update on the contract negotiations with Dyer ahead of tonight’s MLW Fusion show.
“Conversations are fluid, but he recently dug in and is playing hardball. I want to be transparent with our audience and fans. We got to a certain point where it’s not looking great, and we’re at an impasse. Obviously, there are rumors about Bishop, his future, and where he’s going next. This may get done, it may not get done, and I wanted everyone to be aware of it. If I have the opportunity to disclose what’s going on, I would like to, and do it in a way where the audience has context. I’m confident we can try to get something done; it just has to make sense for both parties. He’s been an amazing talent and great team player,” he said.
