Young Bucks Comemnts on Them Asking For Their TNA Release in 2011 Being “We Saw Something In Ourselves That They Didn’t”

The Undisputed held a recent interview with The Young Bucks’ Matt & Nick Jackson. One of the topics discussed included Matt’s thoughts about The Young Bucks decision to ask and be granted their releases from TNA Wrestling in July of 2011.

“Call it blind confidence, or young arrogance, we just saw something in ourselves that they did not, and we had the courage to make a change.”

The Young Bucks made a return appearance to TNA at TNA One Night Only 2013 in April of 2013 and later at TNA Against All Odds 2021 in June of 2021 as part of AEW’s working relationship with Impact/TNA at the time.

Berwyn Eagles Club Sold To New Ownership & Future of Wrestling Events at Venue Uncertain

As noted before, indies wrestler Krule, also known as Mads Krugger in MLW, was involved in an alleged fan stabbing incident at an indies event for Ruthless Pro Wrestling this past March in Berwyn, Illinois. This “stabbing” incident was later revealed to have been faked and the host venue Berwyn Eagles Club no longer would be hosting wrestling events after claiming they had lost their license due to the incident. The venue’s license was later revealed to not have been revoked and instead it was the venue who made the decision to no longer host wrestling events as a result of the incident.

The Chicago-Sun Times reported that the Berwyn Eagles Club was recently sold to Berwyn Auto Spa, which is owned by José Tejada. It was reported that the venue will now be called Destino following its sale.

It was reported that the building will be converted into an event space but it is currently unknown if wrestling events will be held in the venue. Several wrestling promoters spoken stated that they don’t know of any wrestling events scheduled there despite the building’s history with pro wrestling.

Reality of Wrestling recently announced that WWE ID talent and coach Timothy Thatcher will be making an appearance for the company at their ROW ID Showcase event on August 7 in Texas City, Texas.

Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that HOOK will be making an appearance for the company at their No Signal In The Hills Pt. 5 event on September 12 in Los Angeles, California.

Indies talent Royce Issacs announced on Twitter that he recently suffered a L5 disc desiccation that’s also impeding S1 injury and will be out of action for at least the next three months.

PRODUCE Wrestling recently announced that Jonathan Gresham is the next official entrant in the Royal Ranbo match at their PRODUCE Volume 3: Azucar event on August 3 in Brooklyn, New York.
