Main Event Revealed for July 18 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Show

A recent episode of The Sal Licata Show podcast featured WWE commentator Michael Cole as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Cole revealing that the main event for WWE’s upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show on July 18 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York will be the tag team match of Cody Rhodes & CM Punk vs. Gunther & Sami Zayn.

“The main event on Saturday will be a tag team match with CM Punk, the WWE Champion, teaming with Cody Rhodes, the guy he meets at SummerSlam for the title against Gunther and Sami Zayn.”

Dustin Rhodes Reveals Identity of Police Officer From Oba Femi & Brock Lesnar Segment at July 13 WWE Raw Show

This past Monday’s WWE RAW show in Dallas, Texas featured a promo segment involving Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, and Oba Femi. This promo segment was notable for Heyman claiming that he got a restraining order placed on Femi and had several police officers come out to provide protection. Following Femi showing up to confront Lesnar, a brief brawl broke out involving Femi single handily taking out all of the police officers.

Former WWE talent and current AEW talent and coach Dustin Rhodes revealed earlier today on Twitter that one of the people who portrayed the police officers was Cordell, who is a student at his Rhodes Academy wrestling school.

Nikki Bella Broken Arm Injury & Return Plans Update

As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has been out of action for WWE since this past March due to a broken ankle injury and surgery.

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Bella’s has recently resurfaced in creative discussions as she progresses towards a return to WWE.
