WrestleTix reported that WWE has sold and distributed around 22,069 tickets for Night 1 on August 1 and around 23,809 tickets for Night 2 on August 2 at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota as of Thursday night.
WrestleVotes reported that their sources stated that WWE officials have been concerned with the lower than expected ticket sales for this August’s SummerSlam 2026 event.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that SummerSlam’s ticket sales has been a “hot topic” within WWE over the past month or so.
In regards to WWE’s recent 25% off sale, Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that both nights of SummerSlam have an $84 get in price and the recent discount on ticket prices have not helped sales in any meaningful way.
Meltzer reported that the U.S. Bank Stadium has a max capacity of around 67,000 for both nights of SummerSlam.
Meltzer speculated that WWE officials likely currently are not expecting anywhere near a sellout for this year’s SummerSlam event but he is confident that the current ticket sales numbers are not what WWE officials had expected at all for such a major event at this point.
