Fatal Influence Wins WWE Women’s Tag Titles

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York featured Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid & Fallon Henley) vs. Scream Mode (Paige & Brie Bella) to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

This was Fatal Influence first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship victory and Reid & Henley’s title victory as a team in their WWE careers.

Danhausen Reveals His “Secret Weapon” for Judgement Day Being Karl Anthony-Towns

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured Danhausen revealing his big “secret weapon” to deal with his issues with Judgement Day’s JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio for his No DQ match against McDonagh.

Throughout the No DQ match between Danhausen and McDonagh, Mysterio kept interfereing and attacking Danhausen. This led to Danhausen scrambling away to the stage where a giant cloning machine box was located as Judgement Day was looking under the ring for a table. This led to two Minihausens showing up and brawled with Mysterio and McDonagh that resulted in Mysterio and McDonagh taking out both of them.

This gave Danhausen enough time to reach his cloning machine and place a cage with a stuffed cat inside of it. This led to the machine making weird noises and the door falling down as smoke came out and NBA Knicks player and NBA Champion Karl Anthony-Towens coming out and made his way to the ring alongside Danhausen. KAT proceeded to lay out both McDonagh and Mysterio with Mysterio being sent through a table. This led to Danhausen hitting a reverse DDT to McDoangh and picking up the pinfall victory.

Danhausen celebrated his victory with KAT and the miniHausens in the ring.

WrestleMania 43 Watch Party, WWE x AAA Eternal Glory, and NXT Stand & Deliver Events Announced For NYC in April 2027

Saturday’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show also featured the announcement of WWE holding several events in New York City during WrestleMania 43 weekend in 2027.

It was announced that a WrestleMania 43 Watch Party event, next year’s NXT Stand & Deliver event, and a new co-branded event called WWE x AAA Eternal Glory will be taking place in the city in April of 2027.

Nick Aldis Costs Gunther WWE Title Shot for SummerSlam

Saturday’s WWE Night’s Main Event show also featured SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis making a surprise appearance.

Near the end of the tag team match between Cody Rhodes & CM Punk and Gunther & Sami Zayn, Gunther laid out Rhodes with the Undisputed WWE title after the referee was accidentally laid out earlier. This led to another referee running out and attempted to count Gunther’s pinfall attempt only for Aldis to appear from under the ring and pulled the referee out of the ring. This led to an angry Gunther confronting Aldis only for Aldis to strike him back leading to Punk hitting the GTS laying out Gunther and placed Rhodes on top of him. Aldis then tossed the referee back into the ring who counted to three to give Rhodes and Punk the victory.

This match was notable for the stipulation of Gunther and Zayn would have been added to the Undisputed WWE title match to make it a Fatal Four-way match at SummerSlam 2026 had they won the tag team match.

Aldis and Gunther had been involved in bad blood issues with each other that turned physical in recent weeks.
