AEW announced that this year’s WrestleDream event will be taking place on Saturday, October 17 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.
It was also announced that tickets for this upcoming event will officially go on sale starting on August 4 for early access premium seating and on Augist 10 for the general public.
In a recent interview with the Orlando Sentinel, AEW CEO Tony Khan gae his thoughts about this year’s event taking place in Orlando and him being excited to keep adding to Florida’s pro wrestling history.
“One of the matches that I was so excited to see as a young fan trading tapes of wrestling on the internet, when I was in junior high, was Ric Flair vs. Barry Windham from the Battle of the Belts in Orlando. That’s just one of so many great matches and rivalries in Florida, and we’re glad to add to that history.”
