AEW World Trios Championship
The Lethal Twist (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian, & Lee Johnson) vs. The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly (Hangman Adam Page, Bandido, & Brody King) (c)

We start things off with Page and Blake, the latter sending Hangman to the ropes only to be dropped with a shoulder tackle. Christian is back on his feet but Page continues to keep him off his game, landing a sliding lariat and a big body slam to keep Blake from much progress. Christian manages to get the Hangman to the corner for a tag to Lethal, who lands some shots before tagging in Lee Johnson. Page manages to fight back, knocking Lethal away with a dropkick into a moonsault on Johnson for two.

Page goes for a springboard senton to keep Lee down before tagging in Bandido, who lands a senton of his own…before tagging in Brody, who lands a senton to complete the set! Johnson backs away from Brody as Bandido tags in, and this allows Blake a chance to tag in and assist Lee in a double-team on the luchador. He sends Bandido to the ropes but the ROH World Champion stops himself, mocking Blake before Johnson tags back in.

He sets Bandido up in a tree of woe as Lethal cuts off King…and Blake takes out Page on the outside, with the challengers standing tall as we go to ad break!

Lethal sends Bandido to the corner but takes a kick to the face followed by an uppercut, and this gives Bandido a chance to take the challenger to the mat. Both men are down but Bandido gets a tag to Brody before Johnson tags in. King sends Blake into Johnson, stacking them up in the corner for a cannonball and a two count.

Tag made to Page, who lays in some lariats on Lee before catching him with another one on the apron to send him crashing to the floor. Lethal intercepts, looking to send the champ to the guardrail…but this gets turned around as Lethal crashes into the barricade instead! Blake and Johnson get set up on the guardrail as well, allowing Brody to deliver a cross body of sorts that sandwiches them against the barricade…and this culminates in a moonsault off the railing by Page! He brings Johnson back into the ring but only gets a two count.

Tag made to Bandido, but Blake and Lethal cut him off before Brody sends Jay to the outside. Blake sets him up for a dive by Johnson from the ring, and they bring him back into the ring for a double stack pin before King kicks out.

Chaos ensues as the champs rush into the ring, clearing out everyone by Johnson after a Buckshot lariat from Hangman. Bandido hoists him up for an X-Knee and that sets him up for a double kick from Bandido and Page, followed by a piledriver from King for the win while the others dive onto Lethal and Christian on the outside!

Winner: The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly via Pinfall to retain the AEW World Trios Championship.

No time for celebration as Ricochet comes out, reminding the champs that if he wasn’t gonna get them with the right hand he’d get them with the left. This becomes more clear when GOA slide into the ring, attacking the champs! Lethal Twist join in as Ricochet comes to the ring, letting the champs know that when you’re in demand you can make demands…as GOA assert that when you don’t follow demands, you get put down.

Backstage: Don Callis Family

We cut backstage, where we hear from Don Callis ahead of two of his Family boys facing off tonight. He talks about the spirit of competition and how one of these men will go on to win the whole tournament. He encourages Hechicero and Cage to shake hands, with Cage speaking some Spanish to let his friend know he is the Machine. See, I know a bit o’ Spanish. That’s more than I can say for Callis, who insists that Cage said that he loves the Don Callis Family before walking off.

Backstage: The Conglomeration

We head backstage again, this time hearing from The Conglomeration. Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong face off tonight, and Orange Cassidy admits there’s some pressure since there’s a chance he could face one of them in the next round. Kyle talks about the history he and Strong have and his focus on winning tonight.

Roderick appreciates the kind words, saying he won’t treat Kyle any different tonight and expects the same from O’Reilly. They wish each other luck before Kyle leaves to get warmed up, asking Orange to help him out as Collision rolls on.

Continental Challenge Cup Tournament First Round Match
Brian Cage vs. Hechicero

Back at ringside, Brian Cage makes his entrance for our first Continental Challenge Cup match of the night. We hear about Cage’s connection to Vegas via Renee before Hechicero makes his way out to get this match underway!

Cage quickly goes to work on his Family teammate, eventually sending Hechicero to the corner for some shots. He sends the luchador across the ring, but Hechicero manages to absorb a shoulder block. He then turns things around on the Machine, dropping him to the mat with a suplex for a nearfall. Hechicero goes after the neck now, bringing Cage back to his feet and to the corner…only for Brian to catch him with a Death Valley Driver!

He sends Hechicero to the corner, first taking a boot from Hechicero and then landing one of his own on the luchador. He brings Hechicero to his feet on the apron, hoisting him over the top rope to drop him with a suplex as we go to ad break.

Hechicero catches the Machine in the ropes for a submission, but the ref has to intervene given the placement…and this allows Cage to drop him with a DDT for a nearfall. He picks Hechicero up for a powerbomb, but only gets a two as Hechicero kicks out. The luchador counters out of a pumphandle slam, quickly transitioning to a leg submission before Cage gets to the ropes for a break.

Hechicero sends Cage into the corner, only to run into a discus lariat from the Machine. Cage lands some hard kicks before hoisting up Hechicero, who breaks free before taking Cage down hard. He twists the body of Cage around enough for a strong cradle clutch, taking the win to advance!

Winner: Hechicero via Pinfall.

There seems to be a little bit of tension between Cage and Hechicero despite their promise to keep things friendly

Video: Darby Allin

We cut to a vignette from Darby Allin. He talks about a big lesson from Sting, that he doesn’t have to change a thing about himself. He notes that Kevin Knight has changed a lot as of late. He brings up Knight joining the Don Callis Family, and how when Darby thinks of family he thinks of Sting and the Icon’s son, Steven James Borden.

He promises Knight that between now and Wembley there will be no sneak attacks or the like, but says that when he’s done that Kevin won’t recognize himself…because Darby will beat him within an inch of his life.

Backstage: The Rascalz, “Blackheart” Lio Rush

We cut to the hazy dressing room of The Rascalz, who talk about riding high after their victory last week. Myron Reed says he’s not rolling, but his pals say they appreciate him asking for this eight-man tag match tonight. Reed says he didn’t ask for it, and Wentz and Xavier didn’t…but it turns out HE did, and by that I mean Lio Rush.

Things get…awkward after that, with the Rascalz walking off as Rush insists that it’s fine. Collision rolls on.

Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne) vs. Mazzerati & Rachelle Riveter

Back at ringside, Divine Dominion make their entrance for our next match. Their opponents are already in the ring for this non-title match as we get underway!

We start off with Kross and Riveter, who attempts a waistlock before hitting the ropes…only to be dropped hard by Kross! Tag made to Bayne as they send Rachelle down hard. Mazzerati tries to get some revenge for her partner but to no avail, as a tag back to Kross leads the champs making short work of their opponents before taking the win with Divine Intervention.

Winner: Divine Dominion via Pinfall.

No time to celebrate here either, as the Brawling Birds make a beeline for the ring to go after their All In opponents. They bring Bayne to the outside, setting her up for something on the steps before Kross pulls her away to safety up the ramp.

Video: Zayda Steel, Mercedes Mone

We cut to a backstage segment from after Dynamite, as Zayda Steel talks about the honor of facing Mercedes Moné on Collision. Mercedes steps in to mock her opponent, who says she lost respect for Moné after what she did to Willow. Mercedes scoffs at this before landing a hard forearm on Steel, knocking her to the floor.

She mocks Zayda some more before walking off.

Continental Challenge Cup Tournament First Round Match
Nigel McGuinness vs. Katsuyori Shibata

We head back to ringside. Nigel McGuinness makes his entrance as we get some comments from him earlier in the day. He talks about being considered an underdog and promising to prove something against Katsuyori Shibata, who makes his entrance to get this match underway!

Nigel makes the first strike here, but gets taken to the mat by Shibata who goes after his leg. Nigel breaks free, but Shibata transitions into a headscissor until Nigel founds the right counter to break out. Shibata blocks a side headlock, transitioning into a lateral press for the cover and a nearfall. Nigel fights to his feet but is caught in a hammerlock by The Wrestler, who takes McGuinness to the mat.

Nigel works to break free, and Shibata allows him to get to his feet. Shibata going for another hammerlock, but Nigel counters with one of his own sending The Wrestler to the ropes where a break is made. A strike from Nigel leads to Shibata firing up, landing some hard kicks in response. Nigel eggs Shibata on to hit the ropes and kick him again, ducking the PK that comes in…but he gets caught with a spinal tap by The Wrestler!

Nigel is hurting from that as he gets back to his feet, but manages to take control with a pair of snapmares sending Shibata to the ropes as we go to ad break.

Nigel’s control is slipping as he gets caught with a kick from Shibata. He responds with a headbutt, but a second attempt at it goes awry when Shibata catches him in a cravat. Nigel stomps the foot of The Wrestler, getting the opening to take Shibata to the mat.

He continues to lay into Shibata, cinching in a side headlock…but Shibata counters into a sleeper hold! He gets a bodyscissor in on McGuinness, who finds a counter by putting pressure on the weakened ankle of Shibata…who has to go to the ropes to break the hold he initially applied. Nigel back on his feet with some shots on a rising Shibata, sending him to the corner. He brings The Wrestler onto the top turnbuckle, but Shibata blocks a Tower of London before leaving the corner for another sleeper hold.

He breaks that hold to charge at the ropes for a PK…only for Nigel to kick his leg to block it! Shibata favors the ankle as he drops to the mat, and this gives Nigel an opening to go for an ankle lock. Shibata tries to get to the ropes before Nigel ends up breaking the hold himself, and this allows Shibata to get on his feet for a PK!

Cover by Shibata gets a two count, before Nigel turns it around for some open hand strikes on The Wrestler. Shibata reverses for some shots of his own, setting up a sleeper hold without the bodyscissor to avoid damage…before Nigel rolls through enough to catch him on his shoulders for the win!

Winner: Nigel McGuinness via Pinfall.

Backstage: Will Ospreay

We cut backstage, where Will Ospreay addresses looking for tag partners to face the Don Callis Family at Dynamite. Knowing that the Death Riders won’t do it, and given his issues with other folks in AEW, he will give his old pals in Japan a call and have a chat with United Empire, especially with Callum Newman given their own issues. With that, we go to commercial break.

We get a video package hyping the dream match between the Young Bucks and Cage & Cope at All In, with the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line in Wembley!

Eight-Man Tag Team Match
“Blackheart” Lio Rush & The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed, & Dezmond Xavier) vs. Jeaux Braxton, Ice Williams, Frescomatic, & Watson

Back at ringside, Lio Rush makes his entrance for our next match. Roses are red, so is some wine, Lio Rush is here and you know what? It’s fine. The Rascalz make their way out next, trying to make sense of Lio as they head to the ring. Their opponents are watching from outside the ring, similarly trying to make sense of Rush before this match gets underway!

Lio appears to be starting things off for his team, but their opponents are refusing to get in until he leaps around for a dive onto them! this brings in Williams, who gets sent to the corner by Rush before Wentz makes a tag.

This leads to The Rascalz taking turns beating down Williams until Frescomatic makes the tag…only to be dropped to the mat by Rush, who starts trying to bite him! He is brought back to the corner for a tag, and he goes back after Frescomatic before wrenching in a reverse cravat of sorts for the win!

Winner: “Blackheart” Lio Rush & The Rascalz via Submission.

The Rascalz congratulate him on the win, and they “celebrate” on the ramp before the Hurt Syndicate make their way out. Lio seems a bit scared of the trio at first before he and the Rascalz leave to the back. Lashley and Shelton head to the ring for our next match. Shane Taylor Promotions come out next, with their opponents already at ringside.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match
The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley) & Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty) vs. Sonico, Willie Montana, RO Montana, & Jake Redondo

STP and the Syndicate make short work of their opponents (of whom I will admit, I only recognize Sonico as the man in a mask). The crowd are enjoying this, chanting “STP” and “we hurt people” as Redondo is sent into the corner.

It seems whatever partnership the Syndicate has with STP has come to an end as the pair leave up the ramp with MVP, but to their credit STP has this firmly in control as Taylor drop Redondo with a package piledriver for the win.

Winner: The Hurt Syndicate & Shane Taylor Promotions via Pinfall.

Backstage: Tommaso Ciampa

Backstage, we hear from Tommaso Ciampa addressing the Casino Gauntlet. He talks about the shot at the World Championship, telling Andrade and MJF they’d better hope he isn’t number 3.

Zayda Steel vs. Mercedes Mone

With that, we head back to ringside as Zayda Steel makes her entrance for our next match. Mercedes Moné makes her way out as well, verbally running down Steel before we get this match underway!

“CEO” (and thankfully not any Sasha) chants as Moné goes after Zayda, sending her to the corner. Steel fights back, catching the former TBS Champion for a nearfall. She follows up with an arm drag on the CEO for a two count, bringing Moné up before being sent to the mat by Mercedes. Steel rolls to the apron to avoid a stomp, catching Moné in the ropes for a slam that gets her another close nearfall.

Moné starts to fight back, blocking a headscissor to drop Steel hard with a lungblower. She goes after the head of Steel before getting a two count. Snapmare by Mercedes into a rear chinlock, but Zayda fights to her feet. She gets a wheelbarrow position, twisting Moné around for a nearfall before Mercedes sends her to the corner as we go to break.

Moné is in control as she grabs Steel by the hair, only for Zayda to counter with a stunner. She then gets the drop on the CEO for some punches, but Mercedes sends her to the ropes before Steel catches the CEO with an STO. She heads to the nearest corner, climbing up top for a diving cross body and a two count.

Mercedes manages to fight back however, setting Steel up for a Money Maker followed by the Statement Maker to pick up the win.

Winner: Mercedes Mone via Submission.

Mercedes celebrates her win for a moment before blindsiding Christopher Daniels with her Owen Hart Tournament title! She whips both Daniels and Steel before Willow comes out for the save. She runs Moné out of the ring before grabbing a mic, calling the CEO out for a fight right now. Mercedes starts to consider it, but escapes through the crowd instead. Willow lets her challenger know that despite the attacks, she is still smiling!

Backstage: Jungle Jack Perry, Swerve Strickland

We cut to somewhere in the building after Dynamite on Wednesday, as a still-bloody Jack Perry addresses his loss against Jon Moxley. He thanks Jon for teaching him something he needed to be prepared, talking his friends before being confronted by Swerve Strickland.

Swerve talks about beating all his friends before saying that Perry is not quite ready to walk amongst us killers…not yet. Perry thinks he is, but Strickland tells him to be careful bringing a knife to a sword fight. Swerve walks up the stairs as we go to commercial.

Video: Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega

We get a video package hyping up Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Will Ospreay at All In.

Backstage: Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Cage & Cope

Backstage, we hear from Kenny Omega as he addresses Don Callis. He challenges Callis to get three of his boys as Omega will team with the Young Bucks…and this gets the attention of Cage and Cope. Omega leaves his pals to discuss tag title business, with the champs showing some concern about this.

The matter of age is brought up, with the Bucks stating the champs are old enough to be their father. This perks up Cage, who asks who’s to say that he’s not. He walks off and eventually so does Cope, leaving Nick to assure Matt that Cage is not their father before Collision rolls on.

Continental Challenge Cup Tournament First Round Match
Roderick Strong vs. Kyle O’Reilly

The two lock up, with Kyle gaining control as he takes Strong to the ropes. Roddy fights back with some strikes, but has to roll through to break out of a hold from O’Reilly. Kyle turns things around for an abdominal stretch, but Strong finds a way to break free before getting swept out from under his feet by O’Reilly.

Kyle lands another hard kick before bringing Roderick to his feet, but Strong catches him with a backbreaker. He brings O’Reilly to his feet and to the corner for some chops, followed by a snap suplex for a two count. Kyle manages to escape to the outside, where he catches the leg of Strong in the ropes before dodging a dive…but Roderick follows up with a backbreaker sending O’Reilly onto the barricade before we go to break!

Both men are back in the ring as Strong catches O’Reilly with another backbreaker, but he is slow to make the cover as he favors his leg. This leads to a two count as O’Reilly kicks out, but Strong is quick to lay in some more strikes before Kyle fires back with a kitchen sink. He follows with some hard kicks sending Roddy to the corner, blocking a backbreaker attempt to cinch in a hammerlock and guillotine.

Strong adjusts his position to try and break free, but Kyle goes for an ankle lock forcing Roddy to focus on getting a rope break. Strong leaves the ring but is caught with a knee by O’Reilly, who brings Roddy back into the ring. Strong intercepts him on the turnbuckle for a corner backbreaker, sending both men to the mat. Strong gets an arm over O’Reilly but it’s only good for a two count.

Kyle starts fighting back again, landing a suplex for a nearfall before looking for a cross arm breaker. He gets the hold in but Strong gets him on his shoulders for a two count that forces a break. Both men back to their feet now, trading strikes until they drop to the canvas.

Strong goes for another pinfall but it’s only good for two. Strong gets O’Reilly to his feet but it leads to the pair trading strikes once more. Kyle blocks a backbreaker before they trade waistlocks. Kyle rolls through, trapping the leg of Strong for the three count to advance!

Winner: Kyle O’Reilly via Pinfall.

Kyle helps Strong to his feet for a show of sportsmanship, but gets shoved to the mat by a heated Roderick! Strong settles down, offering Kyle a helping hand to hug it out before going up the ramp as commentary hypes up next week’s matches to close the show.
