Ruby Soho Reportedly Cleared For In-Ring Return Months Ago
As noted before, Ruby Soho has been absent from AEW since April of 2024 due to her being on maternity leave and birth of her first child in October of 2024. During her time away from AEW, Soho and her husband and AEW talent Angelo Parker opened a new wrestling and board game themed cafe this past October and Soho had resumed in-ring training in July of 2025.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW’s medical team had cleared Soho for an in-ring return this past June.
It was reported that Soho has not been in regular attendance backstage at AEW events and AEW officials currently do not have any concrete plans in place for her potential return. It was also reported that there have been some ideas that have floated around backstage for Soho’s potential return.
Kris Statlander Comments on Skye Blue Is An AEW Women’s Wrestler That Doesn’t Get The Recognition She Deserves From Fans
98 Rock Baltimore held a recent interview with Kris Statlander. One of the topics discussed included Statlander’s thoughts about talent that need to get more attention in AEW’s Women’s division and Skye Blue being one of those people who doesn’t get the reorganization she deserves from fans.
“I feel like there’s a lot of women that still are kind of like on the right on the edge of like about to get their moment, and like they deserve it more than anyone. Honestly, I would say as much as I have gone against her, Skye Blue is one of them.”
