As noted before, TNA Wrestling’s Lockdown 2026 event earlier this month in Chicago, Illinois featured Avery Styles, son of WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles, making his official debut appearance for the company. Styles had announced at the event that he has signed an official contract with TNA.
A recent episode of The AJ Styles Show podcast featured AJ giving his thoughts about his son Avery recently joining TNA and how working for a television wrestling promotion will help him get better with his timing cues and working around commercial breaks during matches.
“He’s going to do independents, and he’s definitely doing TNA. TNA gets him the reps that he needs on television. You need these reps on television because you have to hit times. You have a certain time limit to hit these things before the commercial break and then you have a certain time after you come back that you’ve got to hit…
I’m a stickler of, ‘Hit your time. You’re a professional. Do your job.’ So being at TNA will help him hit his times.”
