As noted before, Andrade El Idolo recently announced that he will be out of action for the next few days to the next few weeks due to a potential undisclosed injury. MJF responded in character on Twitter claiming responsibility for hurting Andrade at last week’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Mexico 2026 show.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Andrade is currently not dealing with an injury and instead he is fine.
It was reported that Andrade’s abscense from this week’s AEW Dynamite show was something that had been planned in advance as a scheduled week off for him.
It was also reported that Andrade is currently expected to return to AEW television next week and resume his on-going storyline with MJF. It was also reported that AEW officials’ current plans for Andrade for their upcoming All In 2026 event remains unchanged.
