CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes, & Randy Orton Appearances Set for 8/14 WWE SmackDown Show

WWE announced two new segments for the card of this Friday’s WWE SmackDown show at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The first new segment announced was Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk and Kevin Owens to make an appearance on the show.

“After making a surprise return to defeat Sami Zayn, Gunther and Finn Bálor in a Fatal 4-Way Match at SummerSlam to become the No. 1 Contender to Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk, Kevin Owens interrupted The Best in the World on SmackDown and sparked a heated exchange that nearly resulted in a brawl.

With the tension at a fever pitch, will Punk and KO come to blows one week before their Undisputed WWE Championship Match in Toronto?”

The second new segment announced was Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton to make an appearance on the show.

“After Randy Orton avoided a physical altercation with an irate Cody Rhodes last week and sparked an intense war of words, will The American Nightmare finally get his hands on the 14-time World Champion?”
