Full Field of Competitors, First Round Matches, and Rules Announced for AEW Continental Cup

AEW held an AEW Continental Challenge Cup Selection Special on Monday on YouTube to officially announce the full field of competitors, First Round matches, and rules for their upcoming inaugural Continental Cup tournament.

In regards to the rules for the Continental Cup, it was announced that all tournament matches will be held under Continental Classic rules in regards to no outside interference being allowed. It was also announced that all tournament matches will not have a time limit and the winners from the first round will have their next match decided via a “blind draw.”

It was also announced that the Semifinal Round matches will be taking place on the August 26th AEW Dynamite show in Glasgow, Scotland and the Finals to take place at All In 2026 on August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

The winner of this tournament will receive a trophy to keep permanently as a reward and will also be crowned the new AEW Continental Champion.
