Jacy Jayne on Her Belief Fatal Influence Is Capable Of Being Female Version Of The Shield in WWE, Lainey Reid Being ‘Missing Piece’ Of Fatal Influence and Her Being The Glue That Holds The Group Together, Potential Concerns About Fatal Influence Splitting Up On WWE Main Roster, & More

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Jacy Jayne as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jayne’s thoughts about the comparisons between her Fatal Influence group and The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, & Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley)) and her belief that Fatal Influence can become the female version of The Shield in WWE.

“I love that. That is such a compliment to me… They’re the top guys, and they’ve been the top guys. Like Roman (Reigns) said last night, it’s always been them. When other people left or when the company went down, company went up, it was always them, and for people to compare us to that, that’s amazing. I’ll take that, and that’s a lot of pressure and a lot of responsibility but I feel like we’re capable of being the first female Shield.”

Jayne also gave her thoughts about Fatal Influence’s victory over The Bella Twins (Brie & Nikki Bella) & Paige at WWE SummerSlam 2026 and how her, Henley, and Reid were all emotional over competing at a WWE Premium Live Event for the first time in their WWE careers.

“When we first got to the stadium… we went out on the stage for the first time and we all got emotional and we’re like, ‘Can’t believe we’re here. We did it.’ It was a big deal. It wasn’t my first pay-per-view. I guess technically Evolution was my first main roster pay-per-view but this was my first SummerSlam, my first stadium. I guess my first time being a main roster member being on a pay-per-view. It was crazy and it’s like one of the biggest weekends of the year. Like, how did I get here?”

Jayne also gave her thoughts about how she believes the match against The Bella Twins & Paige was a passing of the torch type moment for them.

“I know everybody’s talking about passing of the torch with Brock (Lesnar) and Oba (Femi) but, in a way, I feel like it was a passing of the torch to us too. It was old school versus new school. The last generation versus the new generation. I feel like that was a very special moment for the women’s division and for us at that point.”

Jayne also gave her praise of Reid and stated that she was the “missing piece” of the group and how she views Reid as the glue that holds everything together.

“I’m so proud of Lainey (Reid). Someone who had no wrestling experience. She’s been in the business for, I think, maybe three years. Maybe a little over three years but, she’s picked it up so fast and she just always wants to learn and dive into things and she really was the missing piece. I feel like she brings the group together. She’s the glue that holds us together. She’s killing it. I’m so proud of her.”

Jayne also gave her thoughts about if she is concerned about Fatal Influence having to split up on the WWE main roster.

“I think, right now, we’re a unit. I don’t see us breaking up anytime soon. Never say never. I’m sure down the line at some point, we might all go our separate ways. But, I think we’ll all be ready when that time comes to go our separate ways but right now, we’re just sticking together and we’re taking over the division. We’re stronger together than we are apart right now, so, week by week… take all the gold…”
