As noted before, AEW commentator Jim Ross underwent successful brain surgery this past Wednesday to deal with a health issue that has affected his memory since his recent lengthy hospital stay for an undisclosed medical issue.
Ross provided an update on Saturday on Twitter posting a photo of the scar on the back of his head that was stitched up following his surgery.

It is currently not known when Ross might make a potential return appearance to AEW commentary. Ross has made sporadic appearances in AEW over the past year due to health and injuries-related issues with his most recent appearance being at Double or Nothing 2026 event this past May.
