Josh Alexander Makes Surprise Appearance at 8/19 MLP Mayhem Show

Wednesday’s MLP Mayhem show on TSN2 featured Josh Alexander making a surprise return appearance for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.

During the show, Interim MLP Canadian Champion Stu Grayson was in the ring giving a promo before being interrupted by Alexander’s music. Alexander came out to the ring and confronted Grayson and held up his MLP Canadian Championship teasing a future unification match between the two.

Grayson had been crowned the Interim champion due to Alexander being unable to defend his title due to a knee injury he suffered this past March.

Following the show, MLP released a digital exclusive backstage video featuring Grayson relinquishing his recently won PWA Champion’s Grail Championship so that he can focus entirely on the MLP Canadian Championship.

Alexander has been out of action for AEW and MLP since this past March due to a knee injury and surgery.
