The Cauliflower Alley Club held their 60th annual reunion event on Wednesday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
WWE Hall of Famer was scheduled to appear at the event in person but only made a video appearance instead to receive his Iron Mike Mazurki Award. WWE Hall of Famers Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jimmy Hart accepted the award on behalf of Flair instead.
In a video that aired, Flair apologized for not being able to attend the event in person and stated that the reason is due to him currently dealing with a blood clot in his leg that is preventing him from traveling that far out to be at the show.
“I have a blood clot in my leg, so I can’t travel the five or six hour trips that it takes to go to get there. But I wanted to thank you all for coming out tonight, honoring me. I’m so honored.”
Flair also stated that despite the health issue, he feels great and hopes to stay like that for a while.
