TNA Confirms Departures of Mara Sade & Jody Threat and Teases Return Of A Former Knockout Champion

As noted before, Jody Threat departed from TNA Wrestling this past week after requesting and being granted her release. Besides Threat, Mara Sade’s contract with TNA expired this past July but she worked this past week’s TNA Impact! tapings in Philadelphia to finish up her commitments in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament.

TNA confirmed earlier today that both Threat and Sade have departed from the company. It was also announced that a “former TNA Knockouts champion” will be returning to the company.

“TNA Wrestling today confirmed that Jody Threat and Mara Sade have left the company. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. In addition, TNA Wrestling confirmed a former titleholder is returning to the Knockouts Division.”
