Willow Nightingale Provides Update on Broken Hand Injury

As noted before, AEW Women’s World Champion Willow Nightingale recently suffered a hand injury at this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Glasgow, Scotland. AEW CEO Tony Khan confirmed in an All In media scrum on Thursday that Nightingale had suffered a broken hand injury.

Post Wrestling’s John Pollock held a recent interview with Nightingale. One of the topics discussed included Nightingale providing an update on her broken hand injury and stated that she is getting an X-ray to determine the severity of the injury.

“Well, she’s broken. I have to go get an X-ray later today to figure out the severity of that, because that would then inform just how guarded it needs to be on Sunday. Whether I’m able to get any kind of wrist flexibility or just hands or if I’m gonna kind of have a situation where I’m just like a stump. So we’ll see. We’ll see. But, the heart is good. She’s full of love and passion and ready to fight. Mercedes (Moné), right? Angry, mean woman, stomping on it, throwing the title at it, hitting it with a chair. That part, disheartening. But not surprising.”
