NXT Women’s North American Championship and WWE Speed Women’s Championship Unification Triple Threat Match
Kali Armstrong vs. Zaria (NXT Women’s North American) vs. Wren Sinclair (WWE Speed Women’s)

Zaria and Sinclair failed to win the other’s respective titles in singles matches, so Robert Stone booked this match to unify the titles. The Kali Armstrong asked if she could play too and Stone said why not? Because that’s how things work in NXT. Even though the Speed Title is on the line, this will not be contested under Speed Rules.

The bell rang and Sinclair stepped back to let Armstrong and Zarka slug it out. She rejoined just in time to be rolled up by Zaria as a whole bunch of near falls happened very fast. Sinclair kicked Armstrong into Zaria who slammed her and then Sinclar kicked Zaria in the head.

I give them credit, the opening minutes of the match were a solid three-way fight instead of the usual “toss one person out” tactic these matches tend to take.

Armstrong belted Sinclair who rolled out of the ring. Armstrong clotheslined Zaria out and went to dove on her, but Sinclair grabbed her by the ankle and pulled her to the outside. Armstrong fought her off and then sped around the ring and ran over Zaria. She went to do the same thing to Sinclair, but Sincalir moved and Armstrong went into the stairs.

Back in the ring, Zaria bounced Sinclair’s head off the turnbuckles. Sinclair countered and went for a submission, but Zaria overpowered her. Sinclair grabbed her for a Three Amigos, but Armstrong cut her off before the third amigo. Armstrong charged Zaria, but Zaria was waiting and dumped her over the ropes.

Zaria dragged Sinclair up to the ring post and hung her from the second rope. Armstrong put a sleeper on from the top turnbuckle and Zaria hoisted her up on her shoulders. Armstrong got out og that, and Sinclair ran over for a powerbomb but it all deteriorated. Sinclair ended up getting a superplex, but walked right into a spinebuster from Armstrong.

Sinclair started spamming strikes on both opponents, but couldn’t get a pin on either. She managed to get up top and deliver a double crossbody, but again no pins. Zaria clotheslined her and then suplexed Armstrong. Zaria put Sinclair on her shoulders, but Sinclair countered it into a sleeper. So Zaria cannonballed into Armstrong with Sinclair still on her back.

All three traded strikes until Sinclair was knocked out of the ring by a double headbutt. Armstrong powerbombed Zaria, but Sinclair broke up the pin and then rolled up Armstrong for two. Off of that Zaria hit a double spear.

Armstrong hit Sinclair with a Kali Connection and then powerslammed Zaria. Zaria came back and the two traded strikes until Armstrong got sent out of the ring. Sinclair grabbed Zaria in a final Wrench submission hold, but Zaria wouldn’t give up. Armstrong pulled Sinclair to the outside where she powerslammed her.

Getting back in the ring, Armstrong got speared by Zaria. She hit her with an F5 and made the pin to become the new Unified North American and Speed Champion.

Winner: Zaria via Pinfall to become the new Unified WWE Women’s Speed and NXT Women’s North American Champion.

Backstage: Cruz Montana

In what looked like a well-lit bathroom, Cruz Montana was interviewed. He mentioned that he’s had to struggle his whole life and deserves to be here. Montana said the chaos of a 4-way where he thrives and he’s willing to go to hell and back to win the NXT title.

NXT Tag Team Championship
The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor) vs. Tavion Heights & Myles Borne (c)

Vanity Project want their tag titles back, so Robert Stone said “ok” and then even though no one asked, Myles Borne offered up a shot at his North American title to Jackson Drake. So we’ll take care of the first of those matches here.

Borne and Baylor locked up off the top with Borne getting in some uppercuts. They went back and forth until Baylor tried to steal one with a rollup for two. Smokes tagged in and so did Heights, who put him on his shoulders. Borne tagged in for a shot and then Heights suplexed Smokes to the outside.

Baylor and Smokes took some time to regroup with Lockwood and then Baylor rolled back in to light up Borne. Borne got throw out of the ring to smokes who worked his back over. Smokes tagged in and rolled Borne in for some knees to the back. Borne seemed to have hurt himself and the Ref checked on him. Smokes used the opportunity to stomp Borne in the corner.

Baylor tagged in and worked over Borne, sending him to the Vanity Project corner for some fast-tag double teams. Borne tried to get a tag to Heights, but Baylor knocked him off the apron instead. Smokes tagged in and te beating continued. Borne blocked a double team and countered into a hot tag to Heights.

Heights threw Baylor and Smokes around with suplexes and slams. He got an ankle lock on Baylor and then gutwrenched Smokes. He put the lock back on Baylor. Smokes helped Baylor, pulling him to the ropes. Heights broke the hold then took a dropkick. Lockwood got up on the apron and that distracted Heights long enough for Smokes to get a chop block in.

Smokes suplexed Heights then dropped a knee on his head for two. Borne made it back to the apron and begged for a tag. Heights flew over and got him one and Borne came in to take Smokes and Baylor to the woodshed. Borne hit a neckbreaker on Baylor, but Smokes broke up the pin.

Heights sent Smokes over the ropes as Baylor maked a cover on Borne for two. Borne fought back with a high knee and then he and Heights hit stereo belly to belly suplexes. Heights put Baylor up for a powerbomb and Borne added a dropkick for further power.

Heights kicked Smokes and called for a tag, but Borne was on the ground on the outside. Baylor tagged in and they went for a double suplex, but Heights countered and suplexed them both. Borne got back up on the apron and caught a blind tag. Baylor held him while Smokes went up top, but Heights took out Smokes before he could do anything.

They all slugged it out and Heights went over the ropes taking Smokes with him. Borne suplexed Baylor, but Baylor came back with a knee. Baylor shove Borne into Heights who got knocked off the apron. Then Baylor and Smokes double teamed Borne and got the pin to regain the NXT Tag Team Titles.

Winner: The Vanity Project via Pinfall to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

Submission Match
Nattie vs. Jaida Parker

Once again, in NXT if you want something, just ask! In this case, Nattie wanted a submission match with Jaida Parker, so that’s what she got and that’s what this is.

Nattie ran right at Parker off the top and they rolled around until Nattie bailed from the ring. PArker followed and the brawled up the entrance ramp. Nattie threw Parker against the ring apron and then pushed her through the barricade. Parker countered and started jawing with Lyons and Petrovic.

Parker got back into the ring while Nattie regrouped before joining her. Parker hit some ground and pound before Nattie came back with some strikes. Parker threw her into the corner and worked her over. The two went back and forth looking for an opening to catch the other with a submission hold.

Nattie gained an upper hand with a discus anvil and then stomped Parker. Nattie went for a sharpshooter but Parker countered it into an abdominal stretch. Nattie reversed that into one of her own. This went on for a while until Parker took down Nattie for some stomps.

Petrovic got up on the ring apron and distracted the Ref while Lyons pulled Parker’s hair. Suddenly at the tope of the ramp, Los Perros Del Mal appeared and Petrovic immediately left to join them, shocking Lyons. In the ring, Nattie threw Parker into the ropes then pounded her with strikes.

Nattie stomped Parker’s knee, but Parker came back with a big right hand. Parker clubbed Nattie to the mat and Parker laid her out on the second rope for a hip attack. Parker grabbed a rings of saturn hold in the middle of the ring, leaving Nattie nowhere to go bu back as she rolled through and then locked a coke hold of her own on.

Parker broke the hold, so Nattie tried an arm bar. Parker stood up and lifted Nattie for a slam, breaking the hold. Parker went for a scoop slam, but Nattie countered into an Ankle lock. Off of that, Nattie put on the sharpshooter. Parker dragged them over to the ropes and slid out of the ring where Lyons superkicked her.

Thea Hail ran in to run Lyons off and in the ring, Nattie tried to take down Parker, but Parker countered and shoved her out of the ring. Parker followed and threw her back in, delivering a chop-block to Nattie’s knee. Parker then put on the sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Nattie tried to get out of it, but Parker just bore down harder until Nattie was forced to tap out.

Winner: Jaida Parker via Submission.

Backstage: Kendal Grey, Wren Sinclair

Backstage in the Bathroom Playset, Kendal Grey consoled Wren Sinclair on her loss earlier. Sinclair was still worried about Grey’s condition after her head injury a few weeks ago, but let her go to the ring for her match.

NXT Women’s Championship
Kelani Jordan vs. Kendal Grey (c)

Jordan earned this shot the traditional NXT way: Complaining. NXT Women’s Champion Grey directly handed her a title match contract during a promo segment after growing tired of Jordan’s complaints about being passed over.

Back and forth they went off the bell until Jordan dropkicked Grey out of the ring. She then hit a moonsault from the ropes, but Grey came back with an uppercut before throwing her back into the ring. Jordan hit Grey with an armdrag and then the collided in a double clothesline, complete with double kip-up.

Jordan grabbed a headlock which Grey countered into a headscissor. Jordan countered that into a headscissor of her own and then Grey slammed her with a pair of gutwrench takedowns. Grey threw a back elbow and then avoided Jordan enough to get a dropkick in.

Jordan hit a DDT through the ropes and then pounded on Grey’s injured ear with a series of elbows. Jordan stayed in control with a facelock, but Grey powered out of it. She threw strikes at Jordan but Jordan sent her to the mat then dropped a knee on Grey’s head for a two count.

Jordan dropped Grey with a shoulder breaker for two and Grey started to look at little dazed. Jordan kicked her in the head and then charged. Grey grabbed her and threw her over the ropes. Jordan got back in and Grey hit her with a moonsault for a 2.5 count. Gret pulled herself up and chopped Jordan.

They traded strikes until Grey got some knockdowns and then threw Jordan with a suplex. Grey dropped the straps and hit a couple of overhead tosses. Jordan countered a DDT attempt with a norther lights suplex and hammered Grey’s ear, tearing off the bandage.

Grey caught her off the ropes with a powerslam but it wasn’t enough to put Jordan away. Grey went for Shades of Grey and Jorcan countered it into a back breaker. Jordan went up top for a 450, but Grey moved out of the way and rolled her into an ankle lock. Jordan shoved her into the corner and Gret went up top. Then Jordan pushed her off the ringpost onto the announce table head first.

Throwing Grey back into the ring, Jordan hit her with a split-legged moonsault. Grey flopped out of the ring and seemed to be having trouble with her balance as she tried to stand. Jordan wouldn’t let her get far to test that theory though and bounced her head off the announce table.

Jordan whipped Grey into the corner, bouncing her off the turnbuckles. She stood on Grey’s head and then dropped a knee on it. Jordan threw punch after punch to Grey’s injured ear. Jordan hoisted Grey up on the turnbuckle and went for a superplex but Grey fought her off and hit a reverse spanish fly.

Jordan took Grey to the apron and Grey tried to suplex her to the floor, but Jordan blocked it. Shet ook out Grey at the knees and flopped over for a cutter and a two count. Jordan hit a spingboard forearm out of the corner. Jordan lifted Grey for a powerbomb but Grey fought out of it. Grey hit a gutwrench into a knee to get a two count.

Grey went for an armbar but Jordan broke the hold and countered a wheelbarrow into a suplex. Grey countered back with a German of her own. Grey found a leg and put Jordan in an ankle lock in the middle of the ring. Jordan got out of it though and superkicked Grey. Jordan went up top and hit a 450 for another two count.

Grey hit the Shades of Grey out of nowhere, but Jordan kicked out at 2.75. Grey found another ankle lock and Jordan dragged herself towards the ropes, but Grey pulled her back. They rolled around until Jordan threw a stomp at Grey’s ear. She lit Grey up with strikes but whiffed on a moonsault.

Grey threw a back elbow and then Jordan threw her head first into the steel of the ringpost. Jordan hit a quick moonsault and got the pin to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Winner: Kelani Jordan via Pinfall to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Backstage: Robert Stone

In the backstage playset, Robert Stone was interviewed about the show. Stone said he’s been working on a few things for the New Tag Team Champions and he announced that Halloween Havoc will be live on Halloween night.

Video: Naraku

Then a video for Naraku vs Shiloh hill aired. Hill has become fascinated by the poison mist Naraku spits and that made him mad? I guess? Naraku promised to show the world why Hill will “live in darkness” on Tuesday.

Backstage: Myles Borne, Tavion Heights

Myles Borne and Tavion Heights were in the Locker Room Playset lamenting their Tag Team Title loss. Heights was very sad but said that they have to do whatever they can to keep the North American title around Borne’s waist. Heights told Borne to even the score with Vanity Project.

NXT North American Championship
Jackson Drake vs. Myles Borne (c)

Borne was taken down pretty far in the Tag Match earlier so he can’t have a full tank for this match. Drake tried to exploit that off the top, but Borne saw it coming. He threw hands at Drake and clotheslined him over the ropes, but went with him. Drake kicked his head into the steel steps and went for a suplex on the floor but Borne countered it into one of his own.

Tavion Heights came down to the ring to watch Borne’s back as he threw Drake back into the ring and ate a dropkick. They fell over the top rope again to the floor and both men struggled to get up. Drake sent Borne into the steps and talked some smack to Heights.

Drake tossed Borne back into the ring and hit some running knees. Drake continued the work Smokes and Baylor started earlier, working the back and ribs of Borne, trying to drain him of whatever he’s got left in him. Borne caught Drake looking with a high dropkick, but struggled to get to his feet.

Drake got Borne up on his shoulders and Borne countered it into a DDT, but took a shot to the ribs on the way down. Borne hit a powerslam for a cover but only got two. Drake countered a Borne Again and dropped Borne with a cutter for two. Borne slipped to the outside, but Drake dove on him and threw him back in.

Drake went for a 450 but Borne dodged it, so Drake hit him with a gut buster for two. Borne hit another dropkick and then powerbombed Drake twice for a 2.5 count. Drake went up top, but BOrne dropkicked him off the turnbuckle and then dove onto him on the outside. He threw Drake into the ring and dropped Smokes, but Lockwood powerslamed him on the floor. Heights took care of Smokes and Baylor, but Drake threw Borne into the ring for a 450 and a pin to become the new NXT North American Champion.

Match Result: Jackson Drake defeated Myles Borne

In the ring, for whatever reason, Borne hit a Borne Again on Tavion Heights and then left.

Video: Kam Hendrix

Kam Hendrix cut a promo on Mason Rook about how Rook is an “everyman” but Hendrix is a star. He feels that Rook tried to end his career, but he bounced back. On Tuesday, he’ll beat Rook and start his rise to the top.

NXT Championship Fatal Four-way Match
Zilla Fatu vs. Grayson Waller vs. Cruz Montana vs. Tony D’Angelo (c)

After approximately 237 minutes of recaps, promos, on-hold music and introductions, it was time for the Main Event. Here’s everyone’s motivation for this match: Cruz Montana wants to be NXT champion because struggle. Grayson Waller thinks everyone but him sucks. Zilla Fatu is crazy popular and Tony D’Angelo wants to keep his title so he can keep staring off into the middle distance and saying “the fact of the matter” as Champion.

Waller went right for D’Angelo off the top and Montana and Fatu squared off in the corner. Fatu found himself losing the damn numbers game after D’Angelo was sent to the outside, but he fought off Waller and Cruz. D’Angelo and Fatu went at it one on one, with D’Angelo getting a spinebuster in, sending Fatu to the outside.

Cruz popped up behind D’Angelo and threw him to the outside before leaping over the top rope to take out the field. Cruz then took aim at Waller while Fatu and D’Angelo battled up the entrance ramp. Cruz threw Waller back into the ring and delivered some Three Amigos suplexes. Waller chopped him in the throat.

D’Angelo and Fatu fought at ringside while Cruz traded chops and then gave Waller a backbreaker. Fatu whipped D’Angelo into the barricade while Waller hit a discus elbow on Cruz. Waller peppered him with uppercuts but Cruz countered with a back body drop. Fatu chopped D’Angelo against the ringpost.

Fatu suplexed D’Angelo on the outside while Waller and Croz continued the battle in the ring. Waller dropped Cruz on his face, then went to the outside to dispatch D’Angelo and throw Fatu into the ring steps. Back in the ring, Cruz tried a sunsetflip, but Waller kicked him in the face.

Waller hit a neckbreaker on Cruz in the ring. D’Angelo tried to get up on the apron, but Waller knocked him back down. Fatu got up on the apron and Waller threw Cruz at him. He did the same to D’Angelo, but Fatu came back in and knocked waller into D’Angelo’s arms for a deal valley driver.

Cruz and Fatu stood toe to toe in the ring and traded chops until Cruz got caught with a throat punch. Then D’Angelo got in the ring and let his hair down to face Fatu. They collided in duelling shoulder blocks until D’Angelo caught him with a clothesline. Then Waller pulled D’Angelo out of the ring.

D’Angelo dropped Waller spine first on the apron (the wallerest part of the ring!). Then D’Angelo hit exploders on Cruz and Fatu. D’Angelo and Cruz started brawling on the outside, with Cruz ending up in the Steel steps (you read that right). D’Angelo cannonballed him in the steps and walked around to get a chair and a table from under the ring.

Waller cut D’Angelo off and shoved the table back under the ring to make the crowd mad. IN the ring, D’Angelo hit Waller with a fuggeddaboutit suplex and then Waller raked his eyes. Waller hit a stomp on D’Angelo and Cruz and Fatu woke up on the outside. Cruz went up top, but Waller grabbed him and then Fatu and D’Angelo grabbed Waller and Cruz hit him with a superblockbuster. As you can see, no one likes Grayson Waller.

Fatu headbutted D’Angelo off the top rope and then splashed him, but Waller broke it up before Cruz hit him with a destroyer. Waller lay on the outside while Cruz and Fatu fought in the ring. Cruz sent Fatu into the ringpost and then canonballed him in the corner. D’Angelo flew in to break up the cover.

Fatu hit a Samoan Drop on D’Angelo and fired up for a leaping Samoan Spike. The ref started counting, but Waller pulled him out of the ring before he could complete the count. Waller tried to escape but Fatu caught him and cleared the Announce table. Fatu grabbed Waller, but Waller poked his eyes and D’Angelo caught Fatu with a spear.

Cruz grabbed Fatu and laid him out on the table. He went up on the ring post, but D’Angelo met him there and they traded strikes. Both men fell and Waller climbed up. Seeing Fatu on the table, Waller went up top and flew from the top rope onto Fatu, crushing the table.

Waller clutched his leg in pain as D’Angelo got back into the ring to face Cruz. They slugged it out until Cruz kicked him in the gut. D’Angelo came back, but Cruz hit him with a superkick. They scrambled around until D’Angelo threw Cruz in a german suplex. Cruz got up and D’Angelo Speared him. Cruz hit Spin the Block on D’Angelo, but before he could cover, Waller snaked in and threw Cruz out of the ring.

Waller made a quick cover on D’Angelo and 1-2-3 Grayson Waller is the new NXT Champion.

Winner: Grayson Waller via Pinfall to become the new NXT Champion.
