LA Knight Challenges Roman Reigns for WWE World Heavyweight Title

Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines, Iowa featured LA Knight issuing a challenge to Roman Reigns for a match for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

During the show, Reigns came out to the ring and after some words boasting about him winning the Rumble to “save this place,” beating the “old man” in reference to CM Punk, and him “owning the summer,”he talks about how he finally beat Seth Rollins last night.

This led to Knight’s music playing to interupt and came out to the ring. Knight congratulated Reigns for his win at SummerSlam and stated that he did it by himself but he is still a fraud. After some words about how he beat the rest of The Bloodline that Reigns threw at him, he wants the same thing that Seth got which is a title shot with no Bloodline “BS.” Knight then told Reigns that this match can happen at any time and he will even wait all the way until WrestleMania 43 if he has to.

Reigns responded back mocking Knight for not winning anything notable or big to earn it and stated that you don’t get a title shot by “bitching and moaning” anymore. Reigns then told Knight to get to the back of the line since he hasn’t earned it.

Knight responded back stating he’s earned it and when he earned his last shot at Reigns, it took 38 people for Reigns to beat him. Knight then told Roman when he can find a pair or grow one, he can come back and Knight will “smack him back to factory settings.”

Big Cass Makes Surprise WWE Return & Attacks Je’Von Evans

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Big Cass, former Big Bill in AEW, making his surprise return to WWE.

Following Je’Von Evans’ victory over “All Ego” Ethan Page, Big Cass came out and put an end to Evans’ celebration. Cass proceeded to attack Evans and laid him out with an East River Crossing sidewalk slam.

In a follow-up segment, Big Cass was interviewed by Jackie Redmond for some words for his actions on Evans. Cass stated that its been 8 years since the last time he was in WWE and had to make his way back after hitting rock bottom. Cass then stated that it was nothing personal to Evans and just him being in his way as he stacks up the bodies in WWE.

This was Cass’ first appearance in WWE since June of 2018.

Becky Lynch & Stephanie Vaquer Surprise Returns & Goes After Liv Morgan

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured Becky Lynch making a surprise return.

Following Sol Ruca’s victory over Roxanne Perez by disqualification, Judgement Day’s Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, and Liv Morgan attacked Ruca. This led to Lynch’s music playing and her coming out to the ring to interrupt it.

Both Lynch and Morgan grabbed microphones, Lynch told Rodriguez that she wasn’t going after her WWE Women’s Intercontinental title since she already made that belt famous. Lynch then looked at Morgan and stated that she was coming after her title. Lynch proceeded to insult Morgan calling her nothing more than a glorified valet since winning the title and her being the “worst women’s champion of all-time.”

Morgan responded telling Lynch that she should be at home taking care of her daughter and Becky’s time has passed, Morgan’s time is now. Lynch responded back with more insults telling Morgan she wasn’t the greatest women’s champion in her own group, and in fact wasn’t even the greatest women’s champion to sleep with Dominik Mysterio!

Morgan then left the ring and told Perez and Rodriguez to come with her. as they were making their way to the back, Vaquer’s music played and she came out and attacked Perez and Rodriguez. Vaquer then chased Morgan back into the ring and proceeded to beat her down as Lynch looked on.

Lynch and Vaquer then had a tense staredown telling each other that they were going after Morgan’s title and for the other to stay out.

This was Vaquer’s first appearance since this past April due to a shoulder injury. This was also Lynch’s first appearance in WWE since this past June.

Rey Mysterio Teases AAA Invite To Roman Reigns

Monday’s WWE RAW show also featured WWE Hall of Famer and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio offering WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns a potential appearance for Lucha Libre AAA.

Following Jacob Fatu’s victory over Royce Keys in a Street Fight match, Fatu attacked Keys and bloodied him up after several running hip attacks including one with a chair wraped up around Keys’ neck. Reigns came out to give a nod of approval to Fatu and made his way to the back. Mysterio was seen backstage and had a brief chat with Reigns asking him if he knew he was the GM of AAA. Reigns responded back stating that he does and Mysterio responded back stating he had something to ask him. This led to the two leaving together as the show went to a close.
