WWE RAW Taping Spoilers for August 31 Episode from Cleveland, OH – Roman Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight Title Challenger Set for 9/14 Mexico City RAW Show

WWE held a double set of WWE RAW and SmackDown television tapings on Friday at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The first taping was for next week’s WWE RAW show on Monday, August 31 while the second taping was for next week’s SmackDown show on Friday, September 4.

Among the notable moments included Penta defeating Rey Fenix in the Finals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s tournament. Penta will be facing off against Roman Reigns for the title at the September 14th RAW show in Mexico City.

• Royce Keys and OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) attack the Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso)backstage. This led to Jacob Fatu running them off and went to the ring to call them out.
• WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Raquel Rodriguez (c) defeated Sol Ruca. During the match, Lyra Valkyria came out and interfered.
• WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s match – Dragon Lee defeated Ethan Page
• Roman Reigns and LA Knight gave a promo in the ring. Solo Sikoa was seen laid out backstage.
• Lola Vice vignette airs.
• Dominik Mysterio vs. Je’Von Evans ends in a disqualification after JD McDonagh interfered. This led to Joe Hendry coming out for the save to setup a tag team match right after.
• Judgment Day (Domink Mysterio & JD McDonagh) defeated Joe Hendry & Je’Von Evans
• Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer gave a promo backstage
• Paul Heyman gave a promo backstage
• WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Finals – Penta defeated Rey Fenix
• WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns came out and confronted Penta after the match
