Will Ospreay Tells Kenny Omega to Name Place & Time For Future Rubber Match

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Credit Union Of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas featured AEW World Champion Will Ospreay coming out for his victory celebration speech.

During his promo segment, Ospreay talked about his title victory and his praise of Omega for being the greatest wrestler

Ospreay talked about how him and Omega are tied up at two wins a piece and while he is happy with it, he told Omega to name the place and time for a rubber match if he’s not.

Ospreay also talked about Callum Newman and United Empire going back to Japan and officially announced he will be forming his own United Empire branch in AEW.

Young Bucks vs. FTR vs. Cage & Cope for AEW World Tag Titles Three-Way Ladder Match Set for All Out 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of All Out 2026.

This new match was an AEW World Tag Team Championship Ladder match of The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. Cage & Cope (Christian Cage & Adam Copeland) (c).

This new match was setup following an in-ring promo segment involving The Young Bucks, FTR, Stokely Hathaway, and Cage & Cope.

Later in the show, it was announced that this match was made official for All Out.

Josh Alexander Makes Surprise Return

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured Josh Alexander making his surprise return from injury.

Following Darby Allin’s victory over Mark Davis to retain his TNT title, RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) ran out and attacked Allin. This led to Steven Bordern running out to save Allin and laid out RPG Vice before staring down Davis. This then led to Alexander running out and attacked Borden laying him out as Davis joined in on the attack.

This was Alexander’s first appearance in AEW since this past March due to a knee injury and surgery.

Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay for AEW World Title Announced for AEW All Out 2026

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of All Out 2026, which takes place on September 26 at the Now Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

This new match announced was an AEW World Championship match of Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay.

This new match was setup following Moxley stopping Gabe Kidd from trying to attack Ospreay with a chair following Ospreay, Andrade El Idolo, & United Empire’s victory in a 10-Man tag team match against The Dogs & The Demand. After Kidd left the ring, Moxley and Ospreay had a tense staredown as Moxley handed Ospreay his AEW World title. This led to a match graphic being shown on the big screen revealing Ospreay defending his title against Moxley at All Out.

AEW announced eight new matches announced for the card of this week’s AEW Collision show on September 5.

This upcoming show will be taped on Wednesday, September 2 at the Credit Union Of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas as part of that night’s AEW Dynamite show tapings at the same venue.
