As noted before, this past Sunday’s AEW All In 2026 event at Wembley Stadium in London, England featured Kofi and Austin Creed, former Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in WWE, making their official AEW debut. Kofi and Creed revealed their new tag team name of The New Level and teamed up with Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Trios Championship in a Trios Roulette Royale match at the event.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Kofi and Creed backstage did not come off like they were above anyone because of their WWE tenures.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that Kofi and Creed were extremely open both creatively and how they interacted with everyone backstage.
Those spoken to reportedly also stated that Kofi and Creed went well out of their way to introduce themselves and meet pretty much everyone they could in AEW backstage at All In.
In regards to the general reaction within AEW, Johnson reported that there were a ton of people backstage who came off beyond impressed by Kofi and Creed personally already.
One source spoken to reportedly stated “They are everything you always heard about, plus more.” Another source spoken to reportedly stated that WWE’s loss was absolutely AEW’s gain.
