As noted before, former TNA and current CMLL talent Tessa Blanchard recently signed an official contract with Major League Wrestling. Blanchard is currently scheduled to be making her official debut appearance for the company at this year’s Fightland event on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina.
CMLL issued an official statement earlier today on Twitter clarifying Blanchard’s status with MLW and stated that her deal is limited exclusievly to her upcoming appearance at the Fightland 2026 event and MLW Fusion tapings on September 12.
“In regards to Tessa Blanchard’s participation in Major League Wrestling, CMLL informs that the deal between the parties is limited exclusively to her participation on the September 12 tapings, without any additional dates or championship challenges.
Because of this, there is no deal between Tessa Blanchard, MLW, and CMLL besides this booking.”
