Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay for AEW World Title Set for AEW Grand Slam France

AEW announced one new match for the card of AEW Grand Slam 2026, which takes place on October 6 at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France.

This new match announced was an AEW World Championship match of Kazuchika Okada vs. Will Ospreay (c).

This new match was setup during Ospreay’s portion of the All Out 2026 post-show media scrum involving him issuing an open challenge to Okada for his title at Grand Slam France. This led to Okada and Don Callis showing up and accepted the challenge and AEW CEO Tony Khan making it official for the show.
