WPXI reported that a 64-year old man from Kittanning, Pennsylvania was the victim of a scam this past March by someone or several people who were impersonating Rhea Ripley.
It was reported that this man was scammed out of $42,700.
It was also reported that the unidentified victim refused to cooperate with the Pennsylvania State Police investigation and no arrests have been made.
No other details regarding the scam situation is currently known.
People scamming others out of their money by impersonating WWE Superstars has been an issue for years with most notably a 79-year-old man named Alfred Mancinelli was revealed in November of 2024 of having being scammed out of almost $1 million by someone impersonating Alexa Bliss over the course of several years.
