Ricochet Says “No One Is At Fault Here” Over Spot That Led To Steven Borden’s Injury at AEW All Out 2026 & Compares Spot To His Royal Rumble Collision Spot With Logan Paul

As noted before, Steven Border suffered a serious head injury at this past Saturday’s AEW All Out 2026 event in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. AEW provided updates during the show stating that Borden was conscious and responsive at the hospital. AEW CEO Tony Khan had provided an update during the post-show scrum stating that the CT scan and all medical tests for Borden came back good.

Ricochet recently responded on Twitter to fan criticisms towards Borden and AEW over the spot that led to Borden’s injury and stated that no one was at fault for it.

In response to a fan who had criticized the spot and claimed that Logan Paul likely spent weeks practicing a similar spot with Ricochet for their Men’s Royal Rumble match in 2023 in WWE, Ricochet responded back stating that was not true and the spot was something they had only practiced once before the show.

“No, we tried it once and that was basically it.

But it doesn’t matter if we practiced it once or 100 times. People have been hurt in wrestling doing high risk and low risk moves. It unfortunately is an aspect we face every time we step into the ring.

No one is at fault here. Its just an unfortunate situation. So lets just hope that Steven continues to get better. 🙏🏽”
