Sami Zayn Promo, Randy Orton & Cody Rhodes Appearance, and Giulia vs. Blake Monroe Match Set for 9/4 WWE SmackDown Show

WWE announced one new match and two new segments for the card of this Friday’s WWE SmackDown show on USA Network.

This upcoming show was taped on Friday, August 28 at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio as part of that night’s WWE RAW show tapings at the same venue.

In regards to the new match, this was announced to be a singles match of Giulia vs. Blake Monroe. WWE is currently advertising that this match as being Monroe’s official in-ring debut for the SmackDown brand after her originally advertised in-ring debut match for the August 21st show ended up not taking place.

In regards to the new segments, the first new segment announced was a promo segment featuring Sami Zayn.

The second new segment announced was Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes making an appearance on the show.
