Steven Borden Head Injury Update – Tony Schiavone Says Borden Is Feeling Fine After Injury at AEW All Out 2026

As noted before, Steven Border suffered a serious head injury at this past Saturday’s AEW All Out 2026 event in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. AEW provided updates during the show stating that Borden was conscious and responsive at the hospital. AEW CEO Tony Khan had provided another update during the post-show scrum stating that the CT scan and all medical tests for Borden came back good.

A recent episode of the What Happened When with Tony Schiavone podcast featured co-host and AEW commentator Tony Schiavone providing an update on Borden’s injury situation and revealed that Borden is currently feeling fine.

“I talked to Steven just yesterday on the phone, and he was fine. He had no headaches. He had no dizziness. As far as a diagnosis is concerned, that has to come from our doctor because I’m not — I can’t make that. But I can tell you by talking to him, he said, ‘I’m fine.’ He did tell me, he said, ‘Of all the years that I played football for the University of Kentucky,’ he said, ‘I never had a concussion, I never experienced anything like that.’ And he was more upset that he thought that he ruined the pay-per-view by what happened. And I said, ‘No, you didn’t.’ I said, because we announced it and then we announced it again to the crowd. So everybody was very happy that you were okay, so that really lifted everybody’s spirits.

So how long he’s going to be out? I don’t know. I’m sure there have to be some, they have to check on him before he can get back in there. It was very scary.”
