In-Ring: Matt Hardy, The Nemeths

The GOAT, Matt Hardy made his way to the ring and his MATTer of Fact was that he always “partakes in Tim Hortons in Canada.” His brother Jeff was taken away in an ambulance last week and Matt wants to know what’s up with that?!

Matt got a mic and said that he and his brother didn’t live up to their potential at Lockdown when they lost the titles to the Nemeths. Matt said that they were about to cash in their rematch clause when Jeff was taken out. Matt then accused the Nemeths of being the ones that did it.

Matt said that the thing about the Hardys is that they will not die and that brought out the Nemeths to ask, “hey, why won’t you die?” Nic said that Matt was just making excuses and the Nemeths only took the tag titles to get paid. They didn’t do a thing to Jeff and the fact they have the tag titles means The Nemeths are the best family in wrestling.

Matt said that Ryan and Nic made a mistake: they came out here. Then Matt jumped both Nemeths, but soon fell to the damn numbers game. Ryan and Nic gave Matt a beatdown until security came out to pull them apart.

Backstage: Trey Miguel

Backstage, Gia Miller interviewed Trey Miguel about his match tonight against Jason Hotch. The winner will be the #1 Contender to the International Championship. Miguel said that he loves Hotch, but it’s about something bigger tonight so may the best man win. And to Ali: you deserve everything you’re going to get after tonight’s match.

Backstage: Elayna Black, The Elegance Brand

Back from a break, Elayna Black said that she had no excuses for her loss at Lockdown. The Elegance Brand wandered by, flaunting M’s newly-won Knockout’s TV Championship. Black threatened to take the title from her and M said “nuh-uh” and volunteered Heather to fight Black.

AJ Francis vs. Brent Oakley

AJ Francis and Elijah went to war in The Final Encore at Lockdown with Francis taking a guitar shot. So, it’s time fot Francis to dig deep and ask himself “what would my create-a-character in Wrestlemania 2000 do?” Expressions came out and said that Toronto was the worst place in all of America and the best part of it was the airport because it means he gets to leave.

Oakley tried to jump Francis off the top and managed to get some offense in, including an nice pulldown slam through the ropes. He made a mistake by jawing at Expressions and that allowed Francis to flatten him and get the win.

Winner: AJ Francis via Pinfall.

After the match Francis got on the mike and declared himself the “Greatest AJ to ever set foot in a TNA ring.” He then challeneged Avery Styles to a match (which would be his first in TNA). That brought out Director of Authority Santino Marella. Marella said that he would like to bring out “A-Very Styles.”

Styles came out and Marella asked him if he wanted to face “AJ Francini” next week. Styles said “Hell yeah!” but then Frankie Kazarian came out and said that Styles didn’t know what he was doing and the match is not happening. Because he can do that.

Backstage: Daria Rae, Zoey Serrano, Harley Hudson

Backstage, Daria Rae approached Xia Brookside and Zoey Serrano and told them not to just beat Indi Hartwell and Harley Hudson, but to end them

Indi Hartwell & Harley Hudson vs. Zoey Serrano & Xia Brookside

Zoey Serrano (nee Stark) makes her official TNA debut, joining up with TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside to take on Daria Rae’s least favourite wrestlers, Harley Hudson and Indi Hartwell (or “Double H” as it were). Hartwell aims to prove she deserves a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship and Hudson is fighting to prove she should still have a job. Rae joined commentary for the match.

Hartwell and Serrano started things off with Hartwell getting the jump on her. These two know each other well from their WWE?NXT days and so they fought back and forth pretty evenly. Hartwell sent Serrano to the outside where Brookside screamed at her to get back into the ring.

A “fan” chanted “Zoey Sucks” at Serrano and she pie-faced him, making everyone feel awkward. The match actually stopped while Brookside tried to get the crowd to stop yelling at her. Eventually she realized that was not going to happen and she started up with Hartwell.

Hudson tagged in and worked Brookside’s arm over. She dragged her to the ring apron and stood on her head until Serrano broke it up and Brookside gave her a baseball slide to the outside. Serrano attacked Hudson while Brookside distracted the ref and then threw her back into the ring for a two count.

Serrano and Brookside islolated Hudson in their corner, double teaming her. Serrano threw her with a suplex and Hudson reached for Hartwell, but got cut off. Brookside hooked Hudson in a submission maneuver, but Hudson powered out of it. Serrano tagged back in and went to clothesline Hudson who ducked and Serrano caught Brookside with it.

Hudson finally got a tag to Hartwell who cleaned house, and went for a cover on Serrano for two. Hartwell caught a high knee from Serrano and countered it into a spinebuster. Brookside broke up the cover though. Hudson hit her with a discus punch. All four started brawling with Hudson getting sent to the outside.

Serrano hot Hartwell with a German suplex and tagged in Brookside for a two count. Hudson took Serrano down and out of the equation, letting Hartwell get a submission onto Brookside, causing her to tap out.

Winner: Indi Hartwell & Harley Hudson via Submission.

Backstage: Ryan Nemeth

Back from break, it was revealed that Ryan Nemeth is the latest TNA wrestler to be laid out backstage with no one doing anything to help him. The culprit remains a mystery, but my Money is on a poltergeist, or possibly free-floating apparition.

Vacant TNA X-Division Championship Qualifier Match
KC Navarro vs. Joe Alonzo

Leon Slater invoked Option C at Lockdown and set his sights on the TNA World Championship. That means the TNA X-Division title has been vacated and is now up for grabs at Bound for Glory in a six-way scramble match. This will be the first Qualifier for the match, which is a pretty big deal for Alonzo who just won himself a TNA contract barely two weeks ago.

Alonzo started the match with a mic and asked “Montreal” to show him some respect during his Impact debut. He suggested that it was his arrival that caused Leon Slater to give up the X-Division title. He then called Navarro an Oompa-Loompa and told the croed to “boo themselves!”

Alonzo worked the arrogance gimmick well, patting Navarro on the head off of the bell. Navarro came back fighting though and returned the pat after Alonzo cowered away from a superkick. Navarro kept up the pressure until Alonzo caught him and threw him over the top ropes to the floor.

Alonzo followed him out and suplexed Navarro on the ring apron (the most Alonzo part of the ring!). He threw Navarro back in for some corner stomps and then scoop slammed him. Navarro came back with some chops and Alonzo hit another suplex to stun him into a cover for two.

The two traded shots in the middle of the ring until they both had the same idea and collided in a double cross body. Navarro got up first and clotheslined Alonzo, following up with a tornado DDT. Alonzo racked Navarro on the rope then hit a “Most Dope” axehandle for a two count.

Alonzo then fell to an insiguri from NAvarro who then hit him with a 305. Alonzo threw the referee in the path of Navarro to cut off a Blessing in Disguise, but Navarro resent and nailed him, getting the pin and punching his ticket to Bound For Glory.

Winner: KC Navarro via Pinfall.

Backstage: Fabian Aichner

Backstage, Fabian Aichner cut a promo from what appeared to be the valet area of a restaurant. He promised to win his match next week and join Navarro at Bound For Glory.

Open Challenge Match
Shazza McKenzie & Vipress vs. Allie & Kiera Hogan (c)

After a thorough but fruitless search for Rosemary, Allie appears to have not given up on DEMONxBUNNY but has accepted Kiera Hogan as her personal tag team partner and savior. Mckenzie and Vipress have answered the open challenge and Fun Fact: McKenzie has never won a match in TNA. Vipress on the other hand, traded wins with Jody Threat back in May of 2025. So, they really jumped the queue to answer this challenge.

The crowd was firmly behind hometown girl Allie as she and McKenzie locked up. Allie dominated with strikes then tagged in Hogan for a splash and a two count. Hogan drop-toed McKenzie then hit her with a hip attack off the ropes. Vipress saved McKenzie from being whipped off the ropes and then tagged in to throw Hogan into the corner for a dropkick.

For some reason, they notified us now that that this Knockouts Tag Title Open Challenge was actually a non-title match. So there’s that.

Back in the match, McKenzie had Hogan in a headlock, but Hogan powered out and superkicked her. Tags were made on both sides and Allie wiped out Vipress with kicks and takedowns. She pulled Vipress over and locked in her Upside Down hold until the ref made her break it.

Allie hit a codebreaker and Hogan hit Face the Music on Vipress. Allie made the cover and won the Tag Team Title Non Tile Open Challenge match.

Winner: Allie & Kiera Hogan via Pinfall.

Backstage: Daria Rae, Indi Hartwell

Backstage, Daria Rae was on the phone, but Indi Hartwell interrupted the call, asking for a Knockouts title shot. Rae told her that she has decided who will get the next shot: Gabby Forza. Rae then left as Hartwell pouted.

Backstage: Ricky Sosa, The System, Elijah

Back from break, Ricky Sosa said that his last few weeks have been pretty rough with the System trying to take him down. That brought over The System, who told him he was tough, but he was no match for the Gatekeepers of TNA. Then Elijah wandered into frame and told them to leave the kid alone. He reminded the System that they have unfinished business and Alexander told him to take that up with Santino.

Dutch vs. BDE

The Righteous have been real weird about BDE in the last few weeks, trying to get him to join their ranks and turn his back on Rich Swann. BDE is looking for his first singles win in TNA, but going up against Dutch might not be the way to do it. Maybe The Righteous should tell BDE why they want him in their team to see if he’s into it.

After the bell rang, Vincent hopped on the mic and said that The Righteous could give BDE his first singles win if he wanted. Vincent then asked Dutch to lay down, which he did. Vincent told BDE to pin him, but BDE decided to drop an elbow instead. That brought out the monster and Dutch shoved him into the corner.

BDE went up top, but Dutch caught him and threw him at the ground. Dutch then launched him into the corner(s) and splashed him. Dutch hit BDE with a clothesline and then stared down Swann on the outside. Dutch picked up BDE by the face and clubbed him.

BDE tried to mount a comeback with strikes and superkick, but Dutch no sold it and countered a Clip Cutter with Death Walks to get the win.

Winner: Dutch via Pinfall.

After the match, Vincent grabbed Swann and dropped him on his head in the ring. Then Dutch threw BDE over his shoulder and the Righteous left with him.

Backstage: Mila Moore, John Skyler

Back from break, Mila Moore was on the phone getting instructions to send Special Agent 0 somewhere that I’m sure couldn’t possibly be the ring. John Skyler approached her and awkwardly tried to ask her out, but her phone rang again and she took the call which should be a pretty big hint for Skylar.

TNA International Championship #1 Contender’s Match
Trey Miguel vs. Jason Hotch

Mustafa Ali won his International Title back at Lockdown, but ended up in the hospital doing it. This was after Ali got real creepy about Hotch’s wife and Miguel just hates Odrer 4 and Ali. So, I can think of no two better contestants to figure out who gets the next shot at Ali an the International Title. Both of these guys are owed a contractual re-match for the International Title, but instead of waiting their turns, they decided to fight about it instead. At least I assume that’s what happened.

Hotch and Miguel showed each other respect with a handshake off the top because they go back a long way. Then they locked up and pushed each other around a bit, with neither getting an advantage. This went on for a while.

Eventually, the pace picked up and they traded arm drags and Spider-Man poses. The even-ness of the match continued with each man immediately countering whatever the other threw at them. Nothing really seemed to work as the match moved at a snail’s pace, each man looking for an openting.

Hotch left the ring and then MIguel went to dive on him, but Hotch saw it coming, ran back into the ring and then dove onto Miguel over the top rope. Miguel came back with a kick to the face. He hit Hotch with an uppercut and then Hotch gave him an uppercut. Hotch then led Miguel over to where the annoucne table was for, you guessed it, an uppercut.

They moved back into the ring and Hotch went off the top rope, but Miguel moved and countered it into an armbar. Miguel then put him in a crossface-type thing and held him there. Miguel let him go and dropkicked him. Then Miguel put Hotch in a headlock and held him there for a while.

Eventually Hotch stood up and kicked Miguel. Hotch then hit a backbreaker, easily the most high impact move of the match so far. Hothc tried to do it again, but Miguel got out of it and went up top. He leapt, but Hotch dodged and Miguel hit him with a middle rope moonsault.

Commentary tried their best to create some tension in the slow-as-molasses match, but the audience’s complete and utter silence told the tale.

Hotch threw a clothesline and then stomped Miguel. He hit him with a corner uppercut and then an insiguri. Hotch hit Miguel with a rolling neckbreaker, but Miguel kicked out at two.

Miguel called his shot from the tope turnbuckle, but Hotch saw it coming and came back with a superkick. Hotch went up top, but Miguel moved and Hotch stomped him for a two count.

Miguel went for a sunset bomb, but Hotch landed on his feet and hit a poisonrana. Miguel no-sold it and hit a poisonrana of his own. Hotch then landed a bule thunder bomb for the legally required two count.

They traded kicks and uppercuts then hit a double cross body, double kip up and double enziguri leaving them both lying on the mat.

Then in a total shock, Special Agent 0 showed up and knocked them both out, ending the match.

Winner: None.

Backstage: Matt Hardy, The Nemeths, Santino Marella

After the match, Matt Hardy and the Nemeths had a shoving match in the back. Then my streaming service crapped out, so I assume that they all shared frosty chocolate milkshakes and went home.
