Priscilla Kelly Wins MLP Women’s Canadian Title at 9/18 MLP Mayhem Show

Wednesday’s MLP Mayhem show featured Priscilla Kelly defeating Gisele Shaw to become the new MLP Women’s Canadian Champion.

This was Kelly’s first-ever MLP Women’s Canadian Championship victory in her Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling career.

As a result of her victory, Kelly will now be defending her newly won title against Nikki Storm at next month’s MLP Northern Rising 2026 event on October 3 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Simone Johnson (Ava) Comments on Future Of Her In-Ring Wrestling Career

A recent episode of the What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes podcast featured former WWE talent and NXT General Manager Ava, real name Simone Johnson, as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Johnson’s thoughts about the future of her in-ring wrestling career.

“I hope not. I have a couple of injuries that I need to sort out. When that is done….I think (I’ll return). I do genuinely miss actually wrestling. For my last two months there…even when I was general manager, I was still training and wrestling, but for my last two months, I was in so much pain that I wasn’t actually wrestling. I do miss that.”
