CM Punk’s Status For Money In The Bank 2026 Reportedly Uncertain

WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that CM Punk’s status for this October’s WWE Money in the Bank 2026 event is currently uncertain.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE officials had discussed at one point for Punk to work the show but that is no longer certain at the moment.

Punk is currently scheduled to compete in a Money in the Bank Qualifier Triple Threat match against Finn Balor and Gunther at Friday’s WWE SmackDown show. Punk is also currently scheduled to compete in a Six-Man Tag Team match at this Saturday’s WWE x AAA Worlds Collide 2026 event in Rosemont, Illinois.

Nattie Underwent Dental Surgery But She Says She’s Cleared To Wrestle

A recent episode of Busted Open Radio’s The Hart Beat podcast featured co-host Nattie revealing that she recently underwent dental surgery after suffering an injury during her #1 Contender’s Fatal Four-way match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at AAA Triplemania 34 Night 1 event. Nattie also stated that she has been medically cleared for in-ring work.

“Last week at The Dungeon, I went to The Dungeon with 20 stitches in my mouth. I had dental surgery earlier in the day. I had some dental work. Something happened to me. Won’t get into it but, I had to go get my two front teeth fixed because, you know, Faby Apache hits really hard. Listen, Faby, I love it and I want more of it. But, I had to get dental surgery on (the) front of my mouth and I had 20 stitches in the front of my mouth and two dental implants, and so when they put in dental implants, there’s metal that goes into the bone and it’s a very elaborate surgery but, I got it handled; I’m good. I’m actually cleared to work; whatever, it’s fine. But I went to my Dungeon practice like an hour after I had this surgery and I was like, ‘Listen, I’m not obviously gonna be able to wrestle today, but I’m going to run this practice, and I’m here because I wanna show you guys that it doesn’t matter where you came from or who your family is or who your dad is or your uncles or grandfather, whatever. You gotta work through hard sh*t in your life.’”

Saquon Shugars vs. Chad Gable for WWE Intercontinental Title Set for Sept. 25th WWE NXT House Show

WWE is currently advertising that WWE Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable will be competing at their NXT house show events on September 25 in Columbia, South Carolina, and September 26 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In regards to Friday’s NXT house show event, it was announced that Gable will be defending his title against Saquon Shugars at the event.
