Steven Borden Makes Surprise Return & Don Callis Family To Men’s Blood & Guts Match

Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida featured Steven Borden making his surprise return from injury.

Following Kyle Fletcher & Kevin Knight’s victory over Will Ospreay & Adam Copeland in a tag team match after interference from AEW International Champion Kazuchika Okada, Okada attacked Copeland resulting in the rest of the Don Callis Family coming out and joining in on the attack on Copeland and Ospreay. This led to Darby Allin’s music playing and came out holding a black bat. Allin then pointed to the entrance way leading to Borden coming out and the two made their way to the ring to save Ospreay and Copeland. This led to the Young Bucks also running out and helped clear the ring of the Don Callis Family.

Borden then grabbed a microphone and stated that he was back and challenged the DCF to “Blood and Guts.”

In a follow-up segment, Don Callis and the rest of the Don Callis Family were seen backstage. Callis boasted about Davis & Doyle’s destruction of The Young Bucks and Fletcher & Knight’s victory over Ospreay & Copeland. After some more words, Callis accepted Borden’s challenge for a Blood & Guts match at AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.

AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026 show takes place place on November 4 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Current card for November 4th AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2026:

  • Men’s Blood & Guts match – Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Steven Bordern, The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson), & Darby Allin vs. Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, “The Jet” Kevin Knight, & Davis & Doyle (Mark Davis & Jake Doyle)).

This was Borden’s first appearance since this past September’s All Out 2026 event due to a head-related injury.

The Dogs Turns on Death Riders & Gabe Kidd and Bang Bang Gang Turns on The Conglomeration & Joins Forces With The Dogs

AEW’s Dynamite show also featured The Dogs (Clark Connors & David Finlay) and The Bang Bang Gang (Jay White, Juice Robinson, Ace Austin, & The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) joining forces as a new heel super group.

Following Jon Moxley’s victory over Roderick Strong in an Eliminator match for the AEW Continental Championship, The Dogs ran out and attacked Strong. This led to Moxley confronting The Dogs and a heated exchanged between the two led to The Dogs turning on Moxley and ending their association with the Death Riders. This led to Gabe Kidd running out to try to stop the attack and confronted The Dogs only for them to attack Kidd as well.

This led to the Bang Bang Gang running out teasing to save the Death Riders. The Conglomeration also ran out to help save the Death Riders. This turned out to just be a ruse by the Bang Bang Gang who attacked The Conglomeration turning heel on them as well and joining forces with The Dogs. This led to Claudio Castagnoli running out to try to save Moxley only to eventually have the numbers too much against him and got beaten down by The Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs.
