Kross blocked Hart trying a flying Octopus Hold early, but a head scissors sent Kross flying into the corner. Hart quickly tagged Blue, who was dropped just as quick, allowing Bayne to tag in. Blue hit a corner hurricanrana and handspring forearm in the corner, as Bayne took a step-up knee in the ropes, but caught a cross-body attempt. Blue swung through into a cruicifix pin attempt, tried to fight off Kross on the apron, but wound up getting back suplexed back into the ring by Bayne as we go to commercial.
Blue was worked over the entire break, as things return with a tilt-a-whirl DDT to cause the reset. Hart & Kross tag in and they awkwardly collide, until Hart hits a lungblower, as Bayne took one as well. Top rope walk into a hurricanrana led to a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Blind tag by Blue, who hit a gnarly hurricanrana driver between the ropes to the mat, as the Sisters hit a double front face suplex and thrust kick. Bayne tried to break the pin, but splashed her own partner. It didn’t matter, as she still powered up and laid out both Sisters with a double German. Do-Si-Do by the Sisters, who each take flying clotheslines, as Bayne brawls with Blue up in the corner, where Blue gets a Cheeky Nandos kick and powerbomb. Kross dispatches of Blue, as Hart tried a moonsault, landed on her feet into the clutches of Kross, as Bayne hit a flying boot/German combo. Blind tag from Kross, as Blue was dropped face-first by Bayne, ate a knee lift from Kross and chucked outside. Hart tried to take control, but ultimately suffered the From Heaven to Hell double chokeslam, as Kross pinned her to win it.
Winner: Divine Dominion via Pinfall.

Alexander hits the ring and destroys all three men with ease, but still tosses a few outside for Doyle & Wardlow to get in their shots. Bodyslam onto the apron and flying cross body to the back by Alexander on Maddox. The poor fella tried throwing everything at Wardlow, who didn’t budge and hit the wind-up lariat. Powerbomb Symphony is dished out, as the crowd pops as Breeze & D are fed to the wolves for more powerbombs.
Winner: Don Callis Family via Pinfall.

A very welcome surprising return for White here, who we were told was expected to be out a couple of months following last month’s Tailgate Brawl at All Out. Connors & Strong start things off chopping the hell out of each other, as Cassidy tags in and starts dishing out suplexes with teammates, all of which who take a bump, but not Cassidy himself (worker smarter, not harder). That was until Castagnoli suplexed both Cassidy & Strong, cutting the shenanigans short and hit Cassidy with a Giant Swing. All the babyfaces get trucked ringside, with Castagnoli continuing revolutions for a crazy impressive 65 seconds before things go to break.
Cassidy was able to make the tag during commercial and Austin was on fire, until Finlay decked him with a charging back elbow, keeping him isolated before we return. Austin escaped the wrong corner and made the hot tag to White, who cleaned house with multiple Dragon Screws. Match starts heavily breaking down ringside, as Cassidy hit a crazy springboard plancha onto Yuta & Castagnoli, as White & Finlay really picked up the pace in the ring, with White spiking him with a DDT for two. Finlay avoids the Uranage initially, but White fought hard and connected. Colten & Castagnoli tag in, as Colten starts dishing out high dropkicks, until he whiffs on a corner splash, allowing the Death Riders train of splashes to connect, including Shafir, who ultimately got mowed down by Nightingale. Yuta remained the most hated in the match, as he threw Nightingale from the ring before taking a Stundog by Cassidy.
O’Reilly in with a wild combo of kicks on Finlay, as Kidd was in to spike Strong with a bounce back German, only White was there with a Cutthroat Suplex, Garcia in with Twist and Shout, The Gunns in for a pump fake DDT and 3:10 to Yuma on Finlay. Castagnoli took a high/low from The Gunns, who want another 3:10, but Yuta took the ref, allowing Shafir to get in a cheap shot. Yuta & Castagnoli connect on a Fastball Special on Colten and Yuta gets the pin for his team. It’s an all-out brawl in the post-match, as all the heels retreat through the crowd.
Winner: The Dogs & Death Riders via Pinfall.

Best-Of-Five Series – Match #1
FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin)
How did Chris Sabin kick out?! 😱 Watch #AEWWrestleDream LIVE on PPV! https://t.co/unlRxFWUDu
— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) October 18, 2026
No crutch for Big Stoke tonight, as Excalibur brings up the possibility of one team having a clean sweep, then takes joy in mentioning the Dodgers getting swept. Shelley & Harwood start trading groundwork, until Sabin tags in, with Wheeler soon after. Snap arm-drags aplenty by Sabin, who switches to chops, once Harwood tags back in, forcing him to take a powder, as FTR regroup with about 5-minutes left in the pre-show. The strategy worked, as Sabin was worked over in the corner during commercial, with Stokely gleefully talking trash. Shelley was able to make a hot tag when things returned, as he hit a high cross off the top and FTR take yet another powder with 2-minutes on the pre-show. They try to tag one another while on the floor and referee Paul Turner wasn’t having that. Wheeler pulled the belt of Shelley to his corner and allowed he & Harwood to take control. Paul Wight makes a wild prediction saying he thinks this is going to bleed over into the main show, as Sabin was being worked over in the corner.
*** Tailgate Brawl pre-show ended ***
Pyro goes off as WrestleDream officially begins, as the crowd starts getting loud for about 20-seconds, until FTR just drop Shelley on the apron and slow things down again with an abdominal stretch. Shelley got a flash pin attempt on Harwood, but Wheeler wisely distracted Turner to miss the cover. Shelley starts mounting a comeback, dodging a diving Wheeler off the apron, causing him to eat a face full of announce desk. Harwood prevented the tag, as FTR regrouped and hit a double team front face suplex for two. They’re really teasing the Sabin hot tag, as Wheeler finally crotched himself, Shelley ducked a charging Harwood and Sabin tags in, firing off a series of arm-drags and PK/Thrust Kick/Tumbleweed from the apron onto both FTR.
Tornado DDT blocked by Harwood, as Stokely tries a cheap shot, but decks Harwood by mistake. Back inside, springboard Tornado DDT connects for a close two, as Stokely is slapping Wheeler to try and wake him up. Sabin up top, Wheeler cuts him off, as Harwood kicks out of an O’Connor Roll into a Wheeler cheap shot into a Harwood spinebuster for two. Shelley saves his partner from Shatter Machine, as we get a standing switch into a Sabin Cutter for a near fall. Sabin low bridged outside, as FTR went for Power-Plex, but Wheeler was sent packing as well. The Guns hit a missile dropkick/frog splash combo on Harwood for another close two. Paul Wight called Dax Harwood “Dax Shepard”, as Shepard & Wheeler miss a double back suplex, as The Guns get super close dueling sunset flips for two. Do-Si-Do by The Guns, as FTR collide and eat double superkicks. Helluva Enzugiri in the corner, as The Guns hit Skull and Bones frog splash/neckbreaker, but Wheeler put Harwood’s foot on the ropes. The Guns look for a double team, but Wheeler posts Shelley and FTR plant Sabin with a Spike Piledriver for the closest near fall of the match at what Schiavone tells us is the 25-minute mark. FTR calls for Shatter Machine, Sabin floats out, Shelley returns for a double enzugiri and connect on a double package powerbomb for the victory.
Winner: Motor City Machine Guns via Pinfall.
