Backstage Update on Dralistico’s AEW Contract Status & Rumors Of Him Leaving AEW

As noted before, Dralistico has been absent from AEW and Ring of Honor since this past June and his contract with AEW is currently set to expire soon. Dralistico recently posted a cryptic tweet that was AI generated and featured him locked up in a jail cell with the “Maybe not for long?” This quickly led to online speculation of him leaving AEW due to the comparisons of Rey Fenix’s tweet of him in a similar setting prior to his departure from AEW in 2025.

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that the current belief is that Dralistico’s tweet was not meant to be him implying of wanting to leave AEW.

Those spoken to reportedly stated that Dralistico is just waiting on his work visas issues to be taken care of and is similar to RUSH’s current expired visa and AEW abscense situation.

Meltzer reported that both RUSH and Dralistico are currently expected to return to AEW and ROH once their work visas situation is resolved.
