Bandido on Teaming With Brody King, Ilja Dragunov And Kenny Omega Being His Dream AEW Opponents, & Final Conversation He Had With PAC

A recent episode of the Good Karma Wrestling podcast featured AEW World Trios Champion and ROH World Champion Bandido as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bandido’s thoughts about him teaming up with Brody King and King’s habit of using his body as a weapon for double team moves in their matches.

“Well, he always used me as a weapon. So that’s great. Yeah, so that’s good for me, and I think we have a good chemistry because he learned lucha libre when he was young. So one of his first lucha trainers was a luchador. So that is very… good for me because he can understand all my style.”

Bandido also gave his thoughts about Ilja Dragunov and Kenny Omega being his current dream match opponents in AEW.

“Well, I always say Kenny Omega will be one of my biggest top names. But now I share a time with the new guy who came to the company in the past in PWG. His name is Ilja Dragunov. So probably that would be good for me to have singles with him. Yeah, I would love to have singles with him too.”

In a separate recent interview with Jimmy V3, Bandido also gave his thoughts about the late “PAC” Benjamin Satterley and the final conversation he had prior to Satterley’s passing this past late September.

“Yeah, you know, PAC, he always was a very good person with me. I met him in Japan. We spent time together in Dragongate and he was a good person with me. The day before he passed away, we spent time (together). He gave me a Newcastle shirt. I gave him my home team shirt, which is Santos Laguna’s shirt, and he said, ‘thank you.’ The last thing that I can remember from him is, ‘I love you, brother,’ and I will have that words in my heart forever, forever. So I want to have him with me for as much time as is possible, you know?”
