Chris Sabin on His Belief “AEW Has The Greatest Tag Team Division In The History Of Wrestling” & Motor City Machine Guns Goal of Becoming The First Team To Win Tag Titles In AEW, NJPW, TNA And WWE

MuscleManMalcolm held a recent interview with The Motor City Machine Guns’ Chris Sabin. One of the topics discussed included Sabin’s thoughts about MCMG sharing the ring with several other tag teams in AEW at All In 2026 and his belief that AEW has the greatest tag team division in wrestling history.

“It was a pretty surreal moment, especially, like, being out there with, like, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Like, these are two guys that I watched growing up. So then we have them. We have the Young Bucks out there who was, like, if anyone knows the history of the Motor City Machine Guns, were tied with the Young Bucks. You know, we’ve wrestled them so many times. TNA, Independents, PWG, everywhere. You know, we’ve never wrestled FTR before. Never had a match. So that was a cool moment to be out there with them. Yeah, man, I don’t know. I just think AEW has the greatest tag team division in the history of wrestling. I think that you can’t argue that, and we’re just excited to get in the mix with everyone, you know?”

Sabin also gave his thoughts about MCMG’s goal of becoming the AEW World Tag Team Champions and them wanting to become the first tag team to win tag titles in AEW, NJPW, TNA, and WWE.

“Absolutely. That’s 100% the goal, and you know, if we do win that championship, we’ll be the first team to win titles in AEW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, TNA, AEW and WWE. So, hey, that’s a pretty cool accomplishment.”
