Video: PAC Memorial Tribute

Our show tonight kicked off with the incredible video tribute to Benjamin “PAC” Satterley that ended last night’s beautiful tribute episode of AEW Dynamite.

Six-Man Tag Team Match
Soloroto (Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto) & Griff Garrison vs. Dalton Castle & The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd)

Soloroto & Griff Garrison were in full gear on their “Dollar Store Hangman & Brodido” bit, which was just tremendous as Tony Schiavone and Paul Wight were on the call for this opener.

Griff did his Bang Bang Griff dance to start the match as Truth got into it with him in a collar-and-elbow lockup. Truth hit an armdrag on Griff, followed by the rana. Solo tagged in and looked to see if he could change his team’s fortunes, but he got slammed by Turbo for the gorilla press. Comoroto entered and got thrown out by the Outrunners, but he skimmed the cat (or as Paul Wight called it “Skimming the Buffalo). A second attempt for the Outrunners got Comoroto out.

The Outrunners did their humourous attempt at a suicide dive to flatten Solo and Griff before the match resumed in the ring with Truth getting slugged by Comoroto. In his team’s corner, Comoroto stomped on Truth as he and Solo kept him away from his teammates. Slam by Griff, but Truth kicked out at two. Truth got hit by a double clothesline from Griff and Solo, but he managed to get away from them to tag Turbo into the match.

Turbo scoop slammed Solo and Griff, but he couldn’t do it to Comoroto, who got him with a scoop slam of his own. Solo was doing his imitation of Bandido, but got taken for a ride by Turbo’s back suplex. Hot tag to Dalton Castle, who flexed his stuff and struck everyone with right hand strikes. Suplexes a-plenty for Griff and Solo, as well as Comoroto after some help from the Outrunners. Scoop slam to Solo as Truth and Turbo entered the ring and got themselves ready for the “Predator Handshake” elbow that hit its mark. The cover, and this one’s done.

Winner: Dalton Castle & The Outrunners via Pinfall.

LJ Cleary vs. AR Fox

We were over to Jacksonville with Ian Riccaboni & Caprice Coleman calling the action for this match.

Cleary looking good to start, but Fox tried with the wristlock. Cleary got out of it and flaunted that to Fox. Cleary with the side headlock takeover on Fox as he transitioned that into a roll-up attempt that went nowhere. Whip to the ropes as Fox flattened Cleary with a shoulder tackle. Leapfrogs from Fox led to the single-leg dropkick to keep Cleary down. Clothesline to the corner by Fox as he hung on and bashed Cleary with the elbows and then hit a cool-looking dropkick using the ropes to do so. Cleary worked some magic with the ropes his own way to avoid Fox as he then got him with the dropkick.

Cleary twisted at Fox’s neck with his feet, and looked for the cover. Seated chinlock by Cleary, but Fox’s foot was on the ropes so he had to break up that hold. Fox and Cleary exchanged chops as the latter got the roll-up for a two-count. In the corner, Fox dropped Cleary with a DDT before hanging on and hitting an arched suplex for another near-fall. Back to the corner with Fox working over Cleary and putting him on the top rope. Fox got him with the modified Iconoclasm, but Cleary countered that with ease. Double-stomp by Cleary only got another two. Kicking combos by Cleary, but he missed with the dobule axe-handle as Fox dodged it with ease. Single-leg dropkick from Fox with both men down.

In the corner, Cleary looked for a kick, but couldn’t capitalize. On the top rope, Fox connected with the springboard Flatliner before he put this one away with the 450 Splash.

Winner: AR Fox via Pinfall.

Cassie Lee vs. Lady Leigh

Jessie McKay brought out SDL to be in Cassie’s corner for this match.

Leigh challenged Cassie to a pushup contest, but Cassie chose instead to get this match going for real. Cassie slid underneath Leigh’s legs and then struck her with a punch before striking an (i)iconic pose. Cassie threw Leigh into the corner, but almost fell victim to a roll-up pin attempt thast she blocked. Leigh was absolutely rocked by Cassie’s spinning kick to the face. Elbow strikes by Cassie earned her a chastising from the referee as she then set Leigh on the apron. Using the ropes, Cassie applied a modified version of La Escalara before being forced to break the hold. SDL & Jessie did the Iinspiration’s taunt alongside Cassie.

Cassie hit a suplex on Leigh, but got caught in the small package pin for the two. Big knee to the back of Leigh by Cassie was then followed with the slap to the face. Backslide attempt by Leigh got turned into the Kamigoye knee by Cassie as she then hit a variation of the Pedigree for the three.

Winner: Cassie Lee via Pinfall.

Backstage: Ortiz, Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston & Ortiz were interviewed about their recent run-ins with RPG Vice. Ortiz dared Rocky or Trent to try it again as Kingston threatened to put Trent in the morgue for what he did to Ortiz.

Il Cartello Grillo (KayJay Impala & Hayden Seal) vs. MxM Collection (Mason Madden & Mansoor)

MxM had Crazy Bread Sticks with them as they gave some to the fans. Ian Riccaboni was more than happy to call the exciting “pec action” from Mansoor & Mason as we got this match going.

Seal and Mansoor kicked it off as the latter tripped up his foe. Mansoor did a fancy dodge of Seal’s dropdown before he struck a pose. Trap pin by Mansoor got the two-count. The dropkick from Mansoor to Seal forced Impala to enter. It was time for some big meaty men slapping meat oh-so-fabulously as Mason tagged in and mixed it up with Impaa. Clotheslines to Impala and Seal as MxM then followed that up with a spinebuster and a rumpshaker to Impala. Seal tried to literally kick Mason’s butt, but that only got him a slam from MxM.

Legal man Mansoor tried to deal with Impala and Seal, but Rosario pulled at his leg to allow his Il Cartello Grillo cohorts to take advantage. Mansoor in deep trouble with the clotheslines to the corner by Seal and Impala, followed by the former hitting a deep powerslam for the two. Mansoor fought out of Seal’s hold and avoided a double back suplex as he tagged in Mason. The former Jacksonville Jaguar’s linebacker put that football speed to good use with brutal efficiency on Il Cartello Grillo. Mansoor tagged back in as he got a nice leg drop from the apron. MxM tried to touch tips, but Rosario Grillo interrupted. He ate a superkick before eating a breadstick barrage for his troubles. In the ring, MxM finished off Seal with the double team for the win.

Winner: MxM Collection via Pinfall.

Trish Adora vs. Rachael Ellering

Collar-and-elbow tie up duel to start with neither woman getting a leg up here. On the second go-around, Rachael had Adora backed into the ropes for the advantage. The two traded shoulder tackles thrice, but nobody had the clear advantage. Adora grabbed at Rachael and hit a wristlock drop before locking a Kimura variation on her. Rachael responded with a big shoulder tackle. Gutwrench suplex from Rachael turned things around, but Adora blocked a second suplex attempt by grabbing at the ropes.

Big chops to the chest of Adora by Rachael left her staggered, but it was a distraction as Christyan XO got on the apron. She got slappd by Rachael for her troubles, but this gave Adora an opening to take advantage with clubbing blows. Big kick to the back of “The Northstar” by Adora as she was then trapped in a modified hammerlock. Adora got her with a shoulder block, but couldn’t capitalize with the suplex. Rachael countered and hit Adora with a pair of chops before rolling her up for the near-fall. Adora got her back with the running soccer kick to the face. Adora loaded up her arm for a Lariat Tubman, but Rachael countered with a kick and hit the suplex. Adora missed with the corner attack and got crushed with the spinning European uppercut by Rachael. Running senton from Rachael only managed to get a two-count. O’Connor Roll countered as Adora held on. Another missed Lariat Tubman as Adora got taken for a ride with the Black Hole Slam for the two-count.

Rachael battered away at Adora with repeated forearms from a mounted position. Senton blocked by Adora led to the German suplex and a fierce Lariat Tubman for the pin and the win.

Winner: Trish Adora via Pinfall.

Six-Man Tag Team Match
Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) & BEEF vs. Darian Bengston, Saieve Al Sabah, & Troy Hollywood

Beef took it to Darian to start the match with repeated headbutts after the Athletes attacked their opponents just as they were being introduced. Beef wrecked Darian with a huge lariat. Troy Hollywood ran in and tried his hand to smack Beef, but he couldn’t muster much. El Sabah ran at the corner, but struck out and was left laying by the Athletes. Big Thesz Press by Beef left Darian dazed in the middle of the ring. The Athletes tagged themselves in, much to Beef’s dismay, as they hit the double team move and got the easy dub.

Winner: Premier Athletes & BEFF via Pinfall.

Backstage: AR Fox

A.R. Fox said he wanted to take a shot at Bandido and the ROH Men’s World Championship

ROH Women’s World Television Championship Proving Ground Match
B3CCA defeated Red Velvet (c)

We got the very amazing entrance from B3CCA as this ten-minute Proving Ground match was ready to go.

B3CCA refused the Code of Honor when our match began in earnest. Collar-and-elbow tieup to start as B3CCA shoved aggressively. Red responded with a wristlock followed by a leg drop to the arm. Red transitioned that into an armbar, but was forced to let go when B3CCA turned that into a pin attempt. B3CCA struck back with a takedown as she showboated as only she could. That cost her some time with Red stricking back on the leg lariat. We then got the two in the splits and exchanging strikes. B3CCA raked at Red’s eyes to get the pinfall, but not the three.

Running elbow by B3CCA got another near-fall on Red, as she maintained aggression with the punches to the face. B3CCA choked at Red with the foot and clobbered at the back. Snap suplex, was followed by a torqueing leg submission that she turned into a resthold. Red countered B3CCA’s suplex for a pin, but that wasn’t enough. Front-face suplex by B3CCA kept the advantage before she applied a straitjacket lunar lock on Red. Full straitjacket submission on lock, but Red got the wristlock flip to escape. Superkick by Red as the five-minute warning hit with both women down. Red recovered and got her second wind with clotheslines and strikes galore, followed by the DDT. Meteora to the back by Red, but B3CCA landed on her feet and got the German suplex with the bridging pin and a near-fall.

B3CCA mocked Red’s stirring taunt and headed to the top rope. Red recovered and nailed the Iconoclasm for the very close two and the three minute warning.Red and B3CCA traded corner attacks, as the latter hit a shotgun dropkick. B3CCA with the springboard facebuster put Red right in the drop zone for the 450. B3CCA missed and almost got caught for the small package pin. Red then got the win with the “Stir It Up” kick.

Winner: Red Velvet via Pinfall.

Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) vs. Bustah & The Brain (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver)

Drake and Oliver kicked it off here as the latter had the upper hand early. Price and Oliver left Drake rattled with a high-octane tag team offense. Elbow to the face by Price as he countered a Drake suplex into a roll-up pin. Price called for a suplex, but Drake blocked it and forced him into the corner with Gibson tagging in. Now it was the GYV’s turn to take over with a nice tandem offense. Gibson looked for a suplex, but Price blocked it and got him with the rana. Blind tag by Oliver as he and Price hit a nice hip toss into neckbreaker combination. The fast-paced tag team action continued with the GYVs taking over and throwing Oliver into the ringpost. Drake took time to taunt Oliver while targeting the arm of his prey. Gibson tagged in and kicked at Oliver’s arm.

Oliver looked for a tag, but Gibson intercepted him and hit an arm-first shoulderplex for maximum pain. Tag to Drake, but Oliver fought back and sent Drake over the top rope. Gibson played defense to block Oliver, but he found himself trapped between the apron cover, which allowed him to tag Alec Price in. Drake and Price fought it out while Gibson remained trapped on the apron. Blockbuster by “Bustah” on Drake. Price turned to the trapped Gibson, but that allowed Drake to get him at the top rope, which got Gibson free. Dropkick press by Price on Gibson, as he then hit the fakeout lariat on Drake. Tag to Oliver, which led to a stage dive to the outside by Price. Oliver with the Falcon Arrow, followed by Price’s splash for thge near-fall.

Gibson pulled Price from the apron, while Oliver had Drake at his mercy. Drake feigned an injury, which allowed Gibson to use the GYV scarf for a cheapshot. The Doomsday Device from the GYV, but Oliver somehow kicked out at two. Drake and Gibson nearly had the double team, but Oliver escaped it. Price stepped in with the Sky-Splitter as Oliver used the ropes to trap Drake for a big splash by Price for a close two broken up by Gibson.

Gibson got sent tumbling over the floor, but he avoided Oliver’s splash. Drake looked for a low blow behind the ref’s back, but Oliver caught Drake’s fist and turned it into a la magistral pin for the victory.

Winner: Bustah & The Brain via Pinfall.

Backstage: Il Cartello Grillo

Il Cartello Grillo was left licking their wounds after being beaten by MxM Collection earlier.

Trent Beretta vs. Eddie Kingston

Kingston went right after Beretta right away with a barrage of strikes and headbutts in the corner. Beretta fought back with the Mongolian thrust, but that did little good as Kingston threw him into the corner and got cracked by the fist of the “Mad King”. Outside the ring, Kingston violently chucked Trent into the barricade. We got an encore from Kingston as he again sent Trent into another barricade. As the action got back into the ring, Kingston waffled Beretta with a pair of chops. The lariat missed its mark, as Beretta fought back with a facebuster, followed by the meteora on Kingston. Beretta slapped Kingston in the face before smacking him some with punches to the face.

Kingston fought back with strikes to Beretta’s gut, but he found himself in trouble with the DDT onto the apron. Beretta was content with a countout win as he watched Kingston struggle to get to his feet. Kingston beat out the count of ten to get himself back into the ring, but Beretta took his time to hit him with some lackadaisical toe kicks. That just fired Kingston up with a hard open-hand chop chest of Beretta, who recovered to hit the neckbreakerr while Kingston was doubled over.

Beretta hit a big back elbow in the corner but couldn’t connect with the tornado DDT. Kingston flattened Beretta with an all-or-nothing lariat before he struck Beretta in the corner with three consecutive Kenta Kobashi chop barrages. Clothesline by Kingston, but Beretta was able to kick out at three. Beretta struck at Kingston’s elbow, but he got hit with a pair of chops. Exploder suplex countered into the tornado DDT by Beretta. The story was that Kingston’s shoulder was getting messed up by the piledriver from Beretta. On the top rope, Beretta looked for a high-risk move, but Kingston intercepted him and connected with the massive King Kong superplex. The cover, but he couldn’t get anything on that left arm for the full pin, which gave Beretta a chance to kick out.

Backfist countered by Beretta, as he then got Kingston with the suplex and the big Shining Wizard knee. One, two….. 2.9999999999999!!!!!!!!!! Beretta exposed his left knee in the hopes of doing maximum damage to Kingston, who was left struggling to get back to his feet. Knee strike caught into a big German suplex by Kingston. The T-Bone suplex soon followed with the straps down and the Uraken Backfist. The cover, but Beretta somehow kicked out at two! Kingston looked for a DDT, but Beretta blocked it and then hit him with the superkick. Piledriver by Beretta, but that was still somehow not enough to keep Kingston down for three!

Beretta distracted the referee as Rocky Romero looked to assault Kingston at ringside, but Ortiz made the save before any damage could be done. Beretta threw Kingston back in the ring, but he got destroyed by the Uraken Backfist. The cover, and that’s it, over. Eddie Kingston wins this one.

Winner: Eddie Kingston via Pinfall.

After the match, Kingston looked worse for wear, but he still got to his feet as he and Ortiz stood tall to end this week’s ROH on HonorClub.
