Seth Rollins has been absent from WWE programming since this past August’s SummerSlam 2026 Night 2 event. During his abscense from WWE programming, Rollins had wrestled at the September 12th WWE Live Event show in Santiago, Chile and is currently advertised to be competing in a dark match at tonight’s WWE SmackDown show in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that Rollins has been with a minor injury and WWE officials have been giving him time to heal up for the reason for his abscense.
Meltzer reported that Rollins is currently ready to be back when needed and WWE officials current plan is to bring him back for storylines when the timing is right for him to make a maximum impact.
