Shotzi Blackheart Withdraws From CMLL Women’s International Grand Prix 2026 Due To Family Tragedy

Shotzi Blackheart announced earlier today on Twitter that she is pulling out of her scheduled booking for CMLL’s upcoming Women’s International Grand Prix 2026 match and event due to family-related reasons.

Blackheart announced that her brother Dean had passed away on October 11 and has to cancel her CMLL tour so that she can be with her family in this time of need for them and honor her brother’s memory.

“Late Sunday night, I lost my brother Dean. Being away from my family these last few days has been hard, but they’ve been so supportive and encouraged me to fulfill my commitments this week.

I will, however, need to withdraw from my CMLL tour next week to be with my family and honor my brother’s memory. It was a huge honor to be selected for the CMLL Grand Prix, and I don’t take that opportunity lightly. Thank you to everyone at CMLL and the fans for understanding how hard all this is for me.”

Prior to her announcement, Blackheart had been scheduled to compete as part of Team World for this year’s Women’s International Grand Prix match and event on October 23 at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.
