Video: “PAC” Benjamin Satterley Memorial Graphic

Tonight’s Impact began with a graphic honoring the late Ben Satterley or Pac as we knew him. It was a classy move, as Pac never wrestled in TNA to my knowledge, showing what an impression he left across the entire wrestling industry.

After that, the Hardy’s were shown entering the arena and we got right down to business:

Vacant TNA X-Division Championship Qualifier Match
BDE vs. Mr. Elegance

Bound For Glory will host a Six-Way Scramble for the currently vacant TNA X-Division Championship. This match sets up the final spot and BDE is still looking for his first singles win in TNA. Mr Elegance recently lost his first singles match in TNA, so they both have things to prove here.

After a lockup, neither man had the upper hand and Elegance threw BDE off the ropes and then let him fall for a cover and two count. Elegance laid gloved fists onto BDE and put him in a modified headlock to try and work him to the mat. BDE countered and whipped him into the corner, but Elegance caught him with a German suplex for two.

Elegance went for a stallllllling suplex, but BDE kicked out of the ensuing cover. BDE hit a double knee codebreaker sending Elegance to the outside for a dive. Back in the ring, Elegance bounced back and went for a backfist, but BDE avoided it an caught Elegance with a backslide cover to pick up the surprise win.

Winner: BDE via Pinfall.

With the field complete, the Scramble for the X-Division Title at Bound For Glory looks like this: Fabian Aichner vs. KC Navarro vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Rich Swann vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. BDE.

Backstage: Jason Hotch, John Skyler, Mila Moore

Backstage, the Great Hands were getting ready for their match later in the night. Skylar said that it was like old times, but Hotch was a little salty about Skyler not standing up for his family when Ali was insulting them. Skylar said that he needed the job because Order was his family.

Backstage: The Home Town Man, Dude Wipes Mascot, AJ Francis, Expressions

Back from break, The Home Town Man was talking with the Dude Wipes Mascot, Deuce. AJ Francis and Expressions approached and told Deuce to do his job later during his match with Moose. That was a pair of real sentences that I just wrote.

Zoey Serrano vs. Indi Hartwell

Daria Rae (currently suspended) hates Indi Hartwell. So, she brought in Serrano to do something about that. That something, is this. Also, TNA Knockouts champion Xia Brookside who will face Hartwell at Bound For Glory, joined in on commentary.

They started brawling before the bell with Serrano slamming Hartwell’s head on the apron. Hartwell fought back and they traded shots at ringside. Serrano drove Hartwell back-first into the apron and then both climbed into the ring officially starting the match.

Serrano started with a superkick and then a suplex, trying to overpower Hartwell. She peppered her with elbows and smashed Hartwell’s head against the mat. Serrano hit a snap suplex and started jawing at Hartwell on the mat. She went off the ropes, but Hartwell caught her and countered into a spinebuster.

Hartwell clotheslined Serrano out of the ring and then stepped up to Brookside who issued a stern warning. Hartwell pump-kicked Serrano, but Serrano came back and shoved her into the ringpost, then the steps. Serrano tossed Hartwell back into the ring then superkicked a member of the production team for absolutely no apparent reason.

Serrano then brought a chair into the ring and the Ref called for the DQ.

Winner: Indi Hartwell via Disqualification.

After the match, Serrano beat up Hartwell with the chair until security pulled her away. Brookside then got into the ring a clocked Hartwell with the TNA Knockouts title belt and stood tall over her.

Order 4 (Special Agent 0 & Mustafa Ali) vs. The Great Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch)

So to make this brief, all these guys used to be buds in Order 4. But then Ali and Hotch had a falling out over the International Title and Ali being real creepy with his wife. Elsewhere, Skylar developed a crush on Moore, who left Order 4, taking Skylar with her after Ali was a crummy boss. Agent 0 remains loyal to Ali, and Tasha Steels is in there somewhere too.

TL;DR: These guys all hate each other because Ali is kind of a dink.

Any way, Hotch and Ali went right to it with Ail dropkicking Hotch off the bell. Hotch fought back and knocked Agent 0 off the apron before chopping Ali. He charged at him but Ali was waiting and slammed him before taking out Skylar with a baseball slide.

Hotch then hit Ali on the outside with a moonsault. He want back into the ring to leap over the top rope, but Zero caught him and slammed him on the apron. On the other side of the ring, Skylar caught Ali with a spear and then turned to Zero for a a spear on the apron.

Back in the ring, Ali caught Skylar with a kick, but Hotch and Skylar came together for a super codebreaker. Zero came in and spammed some headbutts before clotheslining Hotch and Skyler over the rope and diving onto them.

Back from a commercial break, Hotch nailed Ali with a powerbomb while Skylar and Zero begged for tags. They got them and started trading shots. Zero went for a kick, but Skylar caught it. Skylar hit a DDT on Zero for a two count then limped over and climbed up the ring post. Zero caught him up there and Hotch went up to help. Zero caught him too and dragged them back to the mat.

Skylar and Hotch came together and kicked his legs out from underneath him before setting him up for a superplex. Zero blocked it though and hit them both with a double powerbomb from the ringpost. He could only get a two count through which incensed Ali who went over and took a swipe at Moore.

Hotch hit Zero with a crossbody that sent them both out of the ring and Ali went for a 450 on Skylar. Skylar moved though and hit Ali with a spear for a two count. Ali sent Skylar into the ropes throat first and then locked in a Boston Crab. Skylar tried to reach the ropes, but had to tap out.

Winner: Order 4 via Submission.

After the match, Ali yelled a Zero and Steels in the ring. Steelz ordered Zero to take out Skylar and Hotch and he did. Ali then yelled at her for giving orders. Then on the order of Steelz, Zero attacked Ali, laying him out with a clothesline. Steels told Zero to get Moore and he slammed her to the mat next to Ali. Zero and Steels then stood tall with the International Title belt.

Video: Injury Report

According to the TNA Injury Report, Indi Hartwell’s match at Bound For Glory is now in question after the beating she received earlier in the show.

Backstage: Tasha Steelz, Special Agent Zero, The Great Hands, Mila Moore, Mustafa Ali, Santino Marella

Back from break, Skylar was trying to get Moore some help as Ali came in and wanted to know what was up with Steels. Hotch hobbled by and the men of the former Order 4 broke into a brawl that had to be quelled by security. Director of Authority Sanitno Marella then arrived and declared that all four would face off in a fatal four way for the International Title, which seems like a reasonable way to settle things.

AJ Francis vs. Moose

Last week, Moose and AJ Francis argued over which one of them is the real Face of the Franchise in TNA. Moose thinks it’s him, because he’s Moose and Francis thinks it’s him because of Dude Wipes, which apparently he was responsible for bringing in as a sponsor. I don’t know if one should be proud of that, but either way Deuce, the Dude Wipes mascot, will likely factor into this bout, so get ready for that.

Moose and Francis are two big dudes, so the meat slapping began right away. Moose knocked Expressions off the apron and Francis shoved him into the corner for a splash. Moose dodged the second one and hit Francis with a shoulder. Francis clubbed him to the mat and hit a running knee in the corner.

Francis ran at Moose and Moose sent him out of the ring. Moose followed and Francis threw him into the steps. Back in the ring, Francis went for a chokeslam, but Moose countered with a head butt. He threw clotheslines at Francis, but couldn’t get him off his feet. Francis charged back and dropped him with a right hand.

Moose evaded a senton and pump kicked Francis. Moose went for a suplex, but Francis countered it into one of his own. Francis put Moose in a shoulder lock, but Moose powered out of it and went to go off the turnbuckles, but Francis saw it coming and pulled him down. Francis went up and set Moose up for a superplex, but Moose shoved him off and hit him with a crossbody.

Moose looked for a spear but caught a boot for his trouble. Francis went up top, but Moose followed and tried to power him into a superplex, but Francis head butted him off. Moose popped back up and finally landed the superplex on Francis in the middle of the ring, but only for a two count.

Francis laid out Moose and made Expressions get a table. They covered it in money and then Deuce got into the ring and helped Moose, which caused Expressions to go through the table. Francis started getting in the, uh, face? I guess, of Deuce, so Moose hit him with a toilet seat (?) to make the save, and the cover to get the win.

Winner: Moose via Pinfall.

Video: Allie, Kiera Hogan, Rosemary

Back from break, TNA Knockouts Tag Champions Allie and Kiera Hogan were walking down the hallway in slow motion when Allie saw her old partner, Rosemary. It’s unclear if Hogan saw her too. Allie asked if this was real and Rosemary said “what is real?” touche. Allie said that she hears Rosemary, but Rosemary said “beware” and then ran away screaming about snakes. It still made more sense than the Dude Wipes thing.

Leon Slater vs. Joe Alonzo

Leon Slater has a date with Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Title at Bound for Glory. So tonight, he gets a warm-up against Joe Alonzo, while Nic Nemeth makes dated observations on commentary. Slater and Nemeth are under a “no contact” order until Bound For Glory.

Alonzo did a little crowd work on the way to the ring while the crowd chanted their unappreciation. Alonzo said that he could do this all night and then said that Slater was a one-trick pony that is going to lose at Bound For Glory. He said that the crowd is going to turn on him and Alonzo accused him of taking spots and opportunity form him, so he’s going to make sure Slater doesn’t make it to Bound For Glory.

The bell rang and Slater immediately destroyed Alonzo and hit him with a Swanton 450 to win the match.

Winner: Leon Slater via Pinfall.

After the match, Nemeth taunted Slater knowing that he couldn’t be touched. He stole Slater’s coat and pranced around with it before bolting up the ring entrance. The problem was that he forgot his belts so Slater picked them up and posed with them.

Video: Avery Styles, Frankie Kazarian

Next, a taped segment with Frankie Kazarian training Avery Styles for the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at Bound For Glory. He told Styles Bound For Glory will be the time to show the world what he can do.

Backstage: The Elegance Brand, Elayna Black

Back from break, Elayna Black confronted M By Elegance saying she was going to take the Knockouts TV title. M Said that wasn’t going to happen because she is the centerpiece of the Elegance Brand. Black asked Heather what she thought of that and the Concierge jumped in to calm them down. M promised to embarrass Black next week and Black said that M can’t win without her friends helping. M said that she can do it by herself, and told everyone to stay in the back during the match, much to the Concierge’s chagrin.

Cedric Alexander vs. Ricky Sosa

Ricky Sosa has had more problems with The System than a hapless central air technician. Now, Alexander takes his turn one on one with Sosa.

They locked up and I was reminded that Sosa is about 17 feet tall. Alexander backed off and they reset with Alexander swiping Sosa’s legs out. Sosa dodged a senton, but Alexander went for the eyes and hit a codebreaker. Sosa came back with a bridging slam but Alexander got out of the cover.

Sosa hit a dropkick, sending Alexander out of the ring for Sosa to dive onto him.

Back from break, Alexander hit a suplex and then splashed Sosa in the corner. He slammed him to the mat and then tossed him through the ropes. Alexander slid out to chop him, but Sosa fought back. Alexander caught him with a kick and then sent him into the stairs.

Back in the ring, Alexander tried to get a cover, but Sosa wouldn’t stay down. Alexander tried to wear him down, but Sosa popped back up and suplexed him. Sosa hit a neckbreaker on Alexander out of the corner but could only get a two count.

Sosa went to suplex Alexander, but they ended up exchanging elbows. Alexander hit a suplex, but Sosa stayed alive kicking out at two. Alexander went for a Lumbar Check, but Sosa blocked it and threw some elbows. Alexander tried again, but Sosa hit him with a strike and dropped him to the mat.

Sosa lined up Alexander for a headshot, but Bryan Meyers and Brea Bonson came down with the Alisha Edwards. Sosa dove onto all of them, but Alisha got up on the apron to cause a distraction so that Eddie could low blow Sosa. Alexander hit the Lumbar Check and got the win.

Winner: Cedric Alexander via Pinfall.

In-Ring: Syx, The Hardys

Back from break and proving that the WWE-TNA partnership is back on and healthy, tonight’s Main Event is a talking segment.

For weeks, mysterious figures have been attacking TNA wrestlers and leaving them knocked out in the back. Matt and Jeff Hardy both fell victim to these attacks and last week called out the attackers in the ring. They turned out to be Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw (FKA Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis), now going by the name Syx. Tonight, the Hardys want answers, again, and Syx has promised to provide them.

Sawyer and Shaw made their way to the ring through the crowd with their creepy sound effects record playing as the lights flickered. They both grabbed mics, but Sawyer spoke first, saying simply “we’re here” in a callback to his former Wyatt Sicks persona.

Shaw said that people have been asking the wrong questions. They should be asking why they are here. Saw said that they’ve been watching TNA and it’s a rotten place. He said that they are here because sometimes a place becomes so rotten, it has to be cut apart. Sawyer said that it doesn’t matter who or where, no one is safe from their cutting.

Sawyer continued saying that everyone is on the chopping block. Shaw said that the Hardy’s are at the top of the chopping block which is totally something that people say. He said that they have built their reputation as survivors, proving that they can’e be killed. Shaw said that it was great because now they get to do it again.

Sawyer said that Syx are in the heads of the Hardys and they are looking over their shoulders. He said it was time to see how hard it is to kill the Hardys. That brought the Hardys out from the back.

Matt had a club in his hand and said that Syx attacked from behind and hid in the shadows trying to put them down. Jeff agreed saying “guess what, dudes? We’re still standing.” Matt said that the Hardys wont die and are unkillable (Vampires?).

Matt challenged Syx at Bound For Glory in a No DQ, Anything Goes, Falls Count Anywhere Match. Syx accepted in what will surely be called a “Chopping Block Match” and chased Syx out of the ring to end the show.
