In-Ring: Daria Rae, Indi Hartwell

Daria Rae is back from suspension! But will she have won a World Title shot in a battle royal she was never in like Wren Sinclair? Only time (and my never-ending head canon) will tell.

Rae aka “the Suit,” came right to the ring, mic in hand and reintroduced herself to the crowd. She said that Santino and Indi Hartwell are ruining her show. She declared herself the greatest authority figure in wrestling and said that Hartwell wouldn’t be Knockouts champion if she had been around.

That of course conjured Hartwell from the back who marched down to the ring to rub her title in Rae’s face. Hartwell called Rae the same miserable person she’s always been and Rae can blame anyone she wants, but while she was sitting at home, Hartwell was winning the title.

Rae told her to enjoy it while it lasts because Xia Brookside has a rematch clause, that she might just use tonight. Maybe right now, in fact. So, that brought Brookside to ringside to take on Hartwell, street clothes and all.

TNA Knockouts World Championship
Xia Brookside vs. Indi Hartwell (c)

Brookside jumped Hartwell off the bell, sending her to the corner with a flurry of punches. She hit a Thez Press, but Hartwell recovered and nailed Brookside with a clothesline off the ropes. Hartwell hit an uppercut on the apron and then big-booted Brookside out of the ring.

Brookside tried to take the title belt, but Hartwell kicked her in the face about it. Brookside responded by smashing Hartwell against the ring apron (the Aussiest part of the ring!). Brookside sent Hartwell into the stairs and then stood on her arm, crushing it against the steel with a stomp.

Brookside continued to work the arm, slamming it against the mat over and over before stretching it in the middle of the ring. Hartwell powered out of it and Brookside sent her into the corner. She charged, but Hartwell caught her with a back elbow and then a spinebuster for two.

Brookside worked Hartwell into a reverse arm bar, but Hartwell rolled through and right into a codebreaker. Brookside made the cover but Hartwell kicked out at two. Hartwell caught Brookside with a Hurts Donut out of nowhere and that was it. Hartwell got the pin and retained her title while wearing what appeared to be courderoy pants.

Winner: Indi Hartwell via Pinfall to retain the TNA Knockouts World Championship.

After the Rae came back out on the entrance to distract Hartwell so Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler could attack her. Baszler choked her out while Rae laughed. The Baszler posed with the Knockouts Title Belt. Foreshadowing?

Backstage: Leon Slater, Trey Miguel

In the back, TNA World Champion Leon Slater cut a promo about how great he feels. He said that he has a lot of respect for his Destination X opponent, Trey Miguel. Slater knows that Miguel will put it all on the line and told him to bring the passion and energy. Miguel then popped into frame and the two shared a friendly embrace. Miguel congratulated Slater and said that he was proud of him, but he’s not going to let this chance at the world title go to waste.

Backstage: Xia Brookside

Back from break, Xia Brookside was sobbing in the back about losing her match with Indi Hartwell. She said that she doesn’t know who she is anymore. She then stood up with something white in her hand that I couldn’t see and wandered off.

TNA X-Division Championship #1 Contender Four-way Match
Fabian Aichner vs. Cedric Alexander vs. KC Navarro vs. Rich Swann

Aicher, Alexander and Swann have been chasing the X-Division Title in one form or another for the last few months. KC Navarro was busy not bothering Nic Nemeth during that time, but is joining the field now. Also of note; Swann was in pants and not his usual trunks. Neat. The winner of this match will challenge X-Division Champion Amazing Red next week.

It was a brawl off the top, with Navarro and Swann forming a temporary alliance to take out Aichner, but but Aichner fought them off. Navarro turnd to Alexander and he and Swann’s alliance fell apart with a superkick. Navarro hit a DDT on Alexander and Swann a crossbody from the ringpost on Navarro.

Back from break, Navarro was on Alexander’s shoulders and Swann nailed him with a clothesline from the turnbuckle. Swann then kicked Aichner in the face, but Aichner came back with a back breaker. Navarro set him up and executed a 305 before Alexander slammed him fact first on the canvas.

Swann launched a barrage of strikes against Alexander, but got slammed for his trouble. Aichner took out Alexander from the top rope for a two count as Navarro broke up the pin.

Aichner threw Navarro at Alexander and then went to slam Swann, but Navarro dropped him with a dropkick. Swann then got slammed on the ring apron and Alexander held him while Navarro dove onto them both. Aichner then flew onto all three.

He threw Alexander into the ring, but suddenly Bear Bronson and Bryan Meyers of the system arrived to beat up Aichner and give Alexander a chance to hit him with a Moonsault to pick up the win.

Winner: Cedric Alexander via Pinfall.

After the match, X-Division Champion Amazing Red came out to confront the new #1 Contender. They argued in the ring.

Backstage: Tasha Steelz, Special Agent Zero

The scene changed to Tasha Steels and Agent Zero in the back.

Steelz said that Order 4 is done and the only thing left to do is shake hands and say Mission Accomplished. She wished Zero luck in the future and left, implying that they are parting ways.

Backstage: Expressions, AJ Francis, Mila Moore, John Skyler

Next, Expressions and AJ francis talked. Francis said that he was proud of Expressions for fighting the Hardys with him last week even though they lost. Mila Moore showed up and laughed at the idea that Francis could book a good show like the Hardys. Then John Skylar called him dumb. Expressions then made fun of Skylar’s height and Skylar grabbed his arm, threatening to break the “pencil necked geek” in half. Francis said that he’d see Skylar next week.

Backstage: Avery Styles, Frankie Kazarian, The Hardys, Moose

In yet another part of the back, the Hardys wished Avery Styles luck in his match tonight. Frankie Kazarian said that he was ready and they walked to the ring.

Backstage: The System

Back from break, The System celebrated Cedric Alexander’s win earlier in the show. However, there seemed to be some dissension over the fact Eddie Edwards wasn’t involved in the beat down.

Joe Alonzo vs. Avery Styles

This of course will be Style’s “highly anticipated” Impact one-on-one debut, while Alonzo is pushing really hard to rename the place The Total Nonstop Alonzo Show. He came to the ring Heeling it up by taking jabs at hicks and local sports teams. Styles looked like he was cosplaying as his father as he came to the ring with Kaz and his comically large Call Your Shot trophy.

They locked up and Styles took Alonzo to the mat with a head lock. Alonzo got out of it and grabbed one of his own. Alonzo went off the ropes right into a dropkick from Styles. Alonzo rolled out of the ring and ended up face to face with Kaz who distracted him long enough for Styles to fly in with an elbow.

Styles threw Alonzo back into the ring and went up top. Alonzo kocked him off the turnbuckle though and gave him some corner stomps. Alonzo lined Styles up for some chops and then shipped him into the corner before hitting a springboard shot for two.

Alonzo threw some clubbing forearms and then a sleeper, trying to put Styles out. Styles fought back and hit a Pele kick and some elbows to send Alonzo to the corner. Styles bulldogged him and hit a running forearm for two. Styles went off the ropes for a Phenomenal Forearm, but went right into an Alonzo superkick for a two count.

Alonzo called for a Styles Clash, but Styles avoided it. He went off the ropes and landed the Phenomenal Forearm. Then Kaz directed him to go up top and hit a spiral tap. Styles nailed it and made the cover to win his debut match.

Winner: Avery Styles via Pinfall.

Backstage: The Elegance Brand, Elayna Black, Jada Stone

In the pink corner of the backstage, M By Elegance was proclaiming herself the leader of the Elegance Brand. She mentioned that she just got a magazine cover, but then Elayna Black arrived to make fun of her. M asked Heather to defend her, but before she could Jada Stone showed up and M said that she would take on Stone next. Black was mad, but Stone promised to give Black a shot when she won the title.

Backstage: Santino Marella, Daria Rae

Back from break, Director of Authority Santino Marella ran down the Destination X card, announcing that the TNA Knockouts will have an Ultimate X match in which the winner will become the #1 Contender to the Knockouts title. Also, the 2026 World X Cup will feature 2 four way matches with international participants, with the winners facing off to be World X Champion.

In-Ring: Allie, Kiera Hogan, Tasha Steelz, Shotzi Blackheart

After that, Allie and Kiera Hogan made their way to the ring to address the TNAU. Last week, Hogan couldn’t find Allie when they had a match and Allie has been having visions of her former tag partner, Rosemary.

Allie took the mic and said that Bound For Glory didn’t go as they’d hoped and they lost the TNA Knockouts Tag Titles. But she’s not going to sit around feeling sorry for herself, so she called out Apex for their rematch. She said that she and Hogan will come back better than ever.

Hogan grabbed the mic and told Allie that she is tired of hearing her talk. Hogan said that Allie is in denial and they lost the titles because of her. Allie tried to protest, but Hogan cut her off. Hogan said that she’s tired of carrying Allie and sees why Rosemary went nuts.

She called Allie the weakest link (good bye!) and said that she didn’t come back to TNA to babysit. Hogan then told Allie that they were done and said if she wanted it it, she could get it. Then suddenly, Tasha Steels attacked Allie from behind. Hogan and Steels worked over Allie, leaving her beaten in the center of the ring.

Suddenly the lights went off and when they came back on none other than Shotzi Blackheart came sprinting down to the ring to take out Steels and Hogan. Blackheart hugged Allie in the ring as Steels and Hogan slunk up the ramp.

Backstage: The Righteous, Harley Hudson

Backstage, Harley Hudson talked to the Righteous. Vincent said that they were spinning their wheels with her and that she needs to make a decision. Hudson said she was grateful for all that the Righteous have done for her. Dutch chimed in and said that they need an answer by next week. I assume the question is “do you want to be in the Righteous?” but no one has every actually said that.

Video: Elijah, Nic Nemeth

Back from break, some “Digital Exclusive” footage of Nic Nemeth and Elijah brawling the back after last week’s Ladder match was shown.

Backstage: Elijah, Ryan Nemeth

Elijah then cut a promo about how Nemeth cost him his shot at the TNA World Title and there will be consequences. Then Ryan Nemeth showed up and asked Elijah to check out his new movie “Stranglehold.” He thinks Elijah will like it because he plays guitar in it. Elijah said he was going to have to kick both of the Nemeth’s asses.

Next Week’s Show Card Rundown

Next Week:

-Amazing Red vs Cedric Alexander for the X-Division Title.

-Harley Hudson answers a Righteous question.

-AJ Francis takes on John Skylar because he’s short.

TNA International Championship 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match
Mustafa Ali vs. Jason Hotch (c)

Hotch and Ali have been in a blood feud over the International title after Hotch left Order 4 and Ali got real weird about Hotch’s wife and daughter. This is Ali’s contractual rematch for the title and it’s 2 out of three falls, Hotch’s first no less.

The bell rang and the trash talking began. They locked up and Ali pulled Hotch’s hair to back him into the corner. Hotch responded with a shove and they locked up again. Ali went off the ropes and hit Hotch with a shoulder, but Hotch kipped right back up. They went to lock up again, but this time Hotch was the one who went off the ropes with a shoulder.

They went back and forth with neither man getting the upper hand until Hotch went off the ropes with a spingboard dropkick sending Ali to the outside. Hotch followed and chopped Ali. Ali circled around and kicked Hotch, looking to send him into the steps, but Hotch countered and went for a pile driver on the apron. Ali got out of it and suplexed hotch on the apron.

Back from break, Ali hit a rolling neckbreaker on Hotch, but Hotch managed to counter it and send Ali sprawling. Hotch went for a clothesline, but Ali turned it into a backslide. They traded pin attempts until Ali was able to sneak in a rollup and get the first fall.

Score: Mustafa Ali – 1 Fall, Jason Hotch – 0 Falls.

Hotch came right back throwing hands. He hit a spin kick to Ali’s face and sent him to the outside for a dive. In control, Hotch threw Ali back into the ring and went for a double stomp, but Ali rolled out of the ring. Hotch turned it into a moonsault and took him out on the floor.

Hotch bounced Ali’s head off the apron, but Ali stapped away and grabbed the International title belt. He clocked Hotch with it and the ref issued a DQ, meaning that Hotch was granted one fall, tying things up.

Score: Mustafa Ali – 1 Fall, Jason Hotch – 1 Fall.

Ali threw Hotch back into the ring, looking for a quick cover, but Hotch kicked out at two. Ali tried a few more covers, but Hotch wouldn’t stay down. Ali started yelling at the ref and went for a suplex, but Hotch countered it. He went to suplex Ali, but Ali countered and shoved Hotch into the ref.

While the ref was down, Ali nailed Hotch with a low blow and ripped the belt off of Hotch’s trunks. He beat Hotch with the belt repeatedly. Hotch blocked the last shot though and came back with a big right hand. Ali dropped the belt and Hotch picked it up, whipping Ali across the back with it.

Ali tried to get away, but Hotch chased him around the ring to the outside with the bet. Ali managed to knock Hotch against the ring post though and then bounced his head off the apron. Ali went up top for a superplex, but Hotch shoved him off the post. Ali landed on his feet and when Hotch dove at him he hit a superkick.

Ali threw Hotch back in for a 450, but Hotch dodged it and returned the favor with a Spanish fly. Hotch made the cover just as the ref stirred, but Ali kicked out at two. Hotch and Ali stripped the tape off their wrists and started throwing bombs at each other. They traded punches and droipkicks and Ali suplexed Hotch into the corner.

Ali went up top and hit the 450, but Hotch dodged and sent him face first into the turnbuckles. Hotch put Ali on his shoulders and hit a GTS. He quickly made the cover and got the final pin to retain the International Title.

Winner: Jason Hotch via 2 Falls to 1 Fall to retain the TNA International Championship.

After the match, Leon Slater came out and headed to the ring. He got on the mic and congratulated Hotch for an amazing match. Slater told Hotch to take it all in because they are the champions in TNA now. He said people like them were told that they had to wait their turn, but their turn is now and the world is theirs. The champions then posed on the ringposts as the show came to an end.

Video: syX

But before it could, Syx showed up and threatened to kill the Hardys next week.
