Drew McIntyre Comments on Him Staying In-Ring Shape During WWE Abscense
As noted before, Drew McIntyre has been absent from WWE since this past April’s WrestleMania 42 event due to his filming commitments for the upcoming Highlander reboot and the new The Last Druid films. McIntyre had finished his filming for both films this past August in Scotland. McIntyre revealed this past late September that he has been training for an in-ring return to WWE.
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured McIntyre as the guest. One of the topics discussed included McIntyre’s thoughts about if he has the itch to get back in the ring and how he has been keeping himself in in-ring shape during his abscense from WWE.
“Oh yeah. I had an itch so bad that I’ve been getting back in the ring and just moving around. I spent three months in Barcelona filming ‘The Last Druid’ after I finished ‘Highlander.’ I literally lived there for three months, and I said, ‘I can’t do this. I have to get in the ring.’ One of the extras, a stuntman, was a local indie guy, and they told me they had a ring there. I went down and just started rolling around in the ring. I was beating up some of his guys just to get my fix. I feel bad for those guys with the way I wrestle. I practice the way I play, so I’m beating the crap out of them with no cameras there.”

Anya Rune (Airica Demia) Says She’s Taking A Step Back From Wrestling Career
As noted before, WWE ID and WWE EVOLVE talent Anya Rune, also known as Airica Demia, was released by WWE this past September as part of a larger batch of talent releases and departures from their developmental system.
Rune announced on Monday that she will be taking a step back from her wrestling career for the foreseeable future. Rune stated that the reason is due to physical and mental health reasons.
“Hi everybody. I know a post like this is gonna let a lot of you down but I feel like its very necessary. Hell, I never thought I would end up making a post like this.
I need to take a step back from wrestling. Both for my physical and mental health. I don’t know how long this is going to last but I’m hoping to find a new love for it in the time I will be spending away. I will be keeping my social media somewhat active, it’ll just be less wrestling related content.
I have unfortunately fallen out of love with wrestling but that doesn’t mean I don’t love everything its given me.
I love and appreciate every single last one of you guys who have continued to support me through everything. Thank you so much”

Pario Magazine held a recent interview with Rizzo. One of the topics discussed included Rizzo’s thoughts about the future of her in-ring wrestling career following her release from WWE.
“I think, right now I’m still within my 30 days, so I haven’t (thought about it). Once I get past the 30 days, I’ll really kind of start looking into options and see what’s out there. I’m just kind of waiting until those 30 days are up right now. Yeah.”
